The Biggest Loser: Michael's Play, Bush League, Ethically Wrong And Game Right
Commentary by RTVC Staff Writer Rikki A.
March 4, 2010

Ethically wrong,
game right.
I have to start of by saying that I completely agreed with Michael’s decision and I applaud it.

Sure ethically it wasn’t the thing to do, but he’s looking out for himself and in doing so put together what seemed like a stacked team.

What is bush league? Absolutely. Was it genious? On paper it seemed to be.

Now those of you who read my commentary last season know that I absolutely hated Tracey’s game play, this is true.

I was a very harsh critic of hers. So why, would you ask, am I okay with Michael’s game play, my answer is: I don’t know. I must take game play on a case by case basis. Tracey’s I didn’t like, Melissa of the red team I was on the fence about, and Michael’s game play move was genious.

Or at least it would have been if it had worked out.

I think putting Miggy on the stacked team was flawed thinking. How much weight could she have possibly lost being only 199 pounds? If he really wanted a stacked team he should have put Sam or Ashley on the team; Sam because he’s a weight loss machine and Ashley because she has so much to lose.

The best part for me was Jillian’s reaction, what a baby. Oh, and way to make your team feel good about themselves Jilly; by pulling your hair and yelling how unfair the teams were, that is confidence boosting.

Plus what is Jillian crying for? She knows she’s the superior trainer and that she can take a team of perceived losers and make them winners, which of course is exactly what she did.

Miggy’s departure is not nearly as hard for me as the departure of Darrell my silver fox. He is so cute. I bet he is going to be mind blowing at the finale.

You know who hasn’t been as cute lately? Ms. Alison Sweeny. Why are they always messing with her and making her were those ill-fitting reject prom dresses all the time. When her hair is straight and she’s in blue jeans she is an absolute stunner, why won’t they just leave her hair, makeup, and wardrobe alone?

I was shocked that the memory game was only played by two people; it surprised me that more people weren’t power hungry. If Melissa was there she would have been all over it. I think this cast is truly more worried about weight loss than anything else, so much so they wouldn’t risk eating the calories it took to play the game.

Watching Michael eat that food made me want to barf, poor guy.

Next week should be interesting.....
