Hottie Number Two
Last night was home week, where the contestants lose the comforts of the ranch and are faced with the horrible challenges of real life. While this is normally a huge obstacle, very few contestants seemed affected.
Stephanie, who is usually not a factor, lost nine pounds last night. I was glad to see her do so well, she is such a pretty girl anyway and she is going to be gorgeous when she loses the extra weight.
Her mom seems to have dropped off a bit as I thought she looked bigger than last time we saw her. You know what parent looked better than ever? My silver fox Darryl.
Darryl’s daughter Andrea didn’t really make that great of TV. She’s fine, but kinda blah, but she’s been doing things lately to step up her game, like eating cupcakes to penalize people and a few weeks back going toe to toe with Michael in the memory game to pick teams. At first the only reason I remotely liked her was because of her hot dad, but now I like her because she is there to compete.
Okay, the whole cupcake thing, I can totally see eating cupcakes to penalize Sam, but why not Koli? He’s every bit as tough as Sam, and Lance focusing all his eating efforts on Sam cost him the money, which I was fine with. I didn’t want Melissa to have the 10,000 dollars; she probably would have spent it on brooms and flying monkeys.
How’d you like Melissa practically pushing the cupcakes down Lance’s gullet? Her maniacal cackle was a little unnerving. Getting a break from her the last couple weeks made me realize how much I don’t miss her.
Side note, is it just me or is Sam getting to be pretty darn hot? I love his little goatee thing. I don’t know if maybe I am just looking for a Darryl replacement.
Daris is so darn sweet, but does he really have to hold hands with that girl everywhere he goes? He needs to focus more on kissing and less on hand holding being as he has never kissed a girl before. He should have zero problems in that department being as he has lost a bunch of weight and is on TV.
Michael’s situation with his grandma is sad, but he still managed to not sabotage himself during home week. I was a little worried about it, but he didn’t drown himself in Yoo Hoo and Ho Ho’s despite his stress, I am really impressed. I could picture him on his knees yelling “Grandma” ala Street Car Named Desire/Stella style with one hand in the air and another shoving meatballs and marshmallows in his mouth. He didn’t handle that way though, kudos to him.
I liked the bike challenge.....
