This
week on the Biggest Loser, the final four ran the Biggest Loser
Marathon. They all finished strong.
The
episode began with all four standing outside, next to movie screens.
Each were again treated to watching themselves weigh in, for the
first time. They also got to see some flashbacks from their season.
All of them looked trim and lean by contrast: Ashley looked pretty
and calm; Koli looked self-assured; Michael looked stunned and
slimmer and Daris looked satisfied with his accomplishments.
After
seeing their films, hostess Allison Sweeney clapped and congratulated
them for getting this far. She confirmed they’d be going home
for a month and put their new knowledge to the test of reality.
They shared a group hug and headed for home.
Michael
was headed for Chicago. He was proud to be weighing in; in front of
the same crowd of family and friends he’d faced at the
beginning. He walked in and the group burst into applause. When he
told them and showed them how much he’d lost, they were all
stunned. His mother, Maria, has definitely lost some weight and looks
younger and healthier. Michael told everyone he was starting his new
life.
Ashley
was going home to Knoxville, Tennessee. She said she had worked hard
and was glad to go home as a winner. Everyone cheered and
congratulated her, especially when she revealed she’d set the
record for a female contestant.
Koli’s
hometown is Rohert Park, California. He faced his friends and family
and told them he had changed and grown. He had developed
self-confidence. “I made a promise to do better on the Ranch
than Sione and Felipe – and I did. I’ll make you another
promise,” he boasted. “I will win the whole contest at
the finale.” Cousin Sam was in the crowd and was cheering him
on.
Daris
went back to his family and friends in Ardmore Oklahoma. Everyone
was thrilled and amazed by Daris’ changed appearance. “If
I wanted to show anybody how well I’ve done, it was all of
you,” he told the gathered crowd. “It means a lot that I
can do this.”
After
the weigh in, everyone looked up at a screen, near each of their
scales. It was no surprise to anyone; Allison was talking to them.
She reminded them they’d all been promised “the ride of
your lives” at the beginning of the season. Therefore, to
begin, they’d had to ride exercise bikes with their partners,
for 26.2 miles. To end the season, they would therefore run and/or
walk that same distance.
They’d
be doing the.....
