Bachelor Pad: Supersized Premiere, Supersized Drama! Here's The Rankings Rankings By RTVC Senior Staff Writer Joseph Braverman August 9, 2011
This week was the Bachelor Pad Season 2 premiere, and I could not be any more excited!
I have to say, this episode may be one of the best episodes in Bachelor history.
You had drama, you had craziness, bold moves, stupid moves, love triangles, love squares, love every which shape you can think of, and much, much more.
I will say this: this may be a new season, but it is the exact same game.
Apparently, some people forgot to watch last season, and realize this was a numbers game!
Jake and Gia, you are my absolute favorites in the house, no question, but you guys infuriated me many times throughout the night.
Jake was this close to getting back into America’s good graces. It seemed like America had been completely wrong about Jake – it was Vienna who was getting the bad edit, holding the “terror” that was Jake over her head like he was some ax murderer coming to get her.
Good grief, but I am not complaining.
Jake, Vienna, Gia, and Michelle I could probably watch every single day of my television life and never get bored.
These guys are awesome personalities.
But, Jake, why oh why did you give the rose to Vienna?
It made not one lick of sense, and clearly had no benefit, when Vienna confessed she felt physically tortured hearing Jake give an apology to her after he gave her the rose.
So, to back up a bit, Jake, along with Jackie as his partner, won the first immunity challenge in an extremely tense match-off between his rivals, Vienna and her boyfriend, Kasey AKA Mr. Guard and Protect Your Heart.
My heart was literally pounding during this entire competition.
Jake’s foot looked like some disease you would find in the Orc homeland in Lord of the Rings, and Kasey’s face was redder than a beet salad.
These guys were literally fighting to hang on, and I loved it.
I absolutely love when people come in as strong competitors, showing their compassion and dedication to winning the challenge and never giving up. One thing is for sure – neither of these warring teams are floaters.
