Bachelor Pad Recap: Five Hours Of The Most Dramatic Rose Ceremonies Ever Recap and Commentary by Gayl Killough July 24, 2012
Skinny dippers.
The third season of The Bachelor Pad premiered last night.
Why did it seem liked the Bachelorette just ended the night before that. Oh, it did.
I love the entire Bachelor franchise of shows, but they are killing me with five hours of the most dramatic rose ceremonies yet in only a couple of days.
I am fairly certain that I have seen more of Host Chris Harrison than my own family in the last couple of days.
The big twist this year is the introduction of super fans.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.

While as a fan, I can appreciate that the Bachelor franchise wants to show appreciation to its fans, I really hate this idea.
I strongly hate the idea, but I am not going to hold it against the fans themselves in the cast.
This makes it too much like other reality shows out there.
I like the idea of this being an alumni event for the Bachelor franchise, the chance to see familiar faces once again.
Plus, it is not like the super fans could not have been cast on the regular Bachelor and Bachelorette shows.
It is an excuse to just cast some really great bodies to walk around in swimwear for the show.
While I am sure the super fans cast are really super fans, they are all gorgeous.
I would have been much more impressed with the casting of some super fan grandma that knows every little detail of every episode and would never make it otherwise onto the dating show.
I also would find it interesting to cast maybe old boyfriends or old girlfriends of some of the alumni if going to go beyond the cast of alumni.
There are five super fan slots with a pair of twins competing as one vote.
There are 15 alumni for a total of 20 slots and 21 people including the twins.
There are ten male slots and ten female slots. There are eight alumni bachelors and two male super fan slots.
There are seven alumni bachelorette slots with three female super fan slots.
