With “The Bachelor” having concluded one of its most talked about seasons, with a surprising scandal and an even more surprising final pick, Jake Pavelka moves on to “Dancing with the Stars” and I move on to writing scoreboards for this season of “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

This may seem like quite a change, but one look at the celebrities featured this season and I feel confident that Trump Tower will house as much scandal as the Bachelor House and I am ready for it!

This week’s challenge was a bit off-putting for me.

I felt like the focus of the challenge was to see not what the celebrities could do, but rather how many deep-pocketed friends their celebrity had awarded.

I feel like this flaw in the make-up of the challenge was seen in the way that the competition played out.

No offense to the fantastically Australian celebrity Chef Curtis Stone’s cooking, but the ladies put on a better restaurant.

In the real world, a business that charges one hundred dollars for a burger will not last without the backing of celebrity and from my position, the women made numerous good business decisions.

Even Joan Rivers agreed!

However, even the aid of last season’s winner could not give the ladies a win and they soon found themselves before an especially profane Trump.

Ultimately, it seemed even Trump could not find fault in any single contestant and let the team make the decision.

My heart goes out to Cyndi Lauper, who really did dedicate herself to the challenge and whose loyalty to her friend in the boardroom was very admirable.

I hope that her team can pull itself together and take the loss of Carol Leif as an opportunity to improve.

Now, I think there may be a few surprises in this week’s rankings, but nonetheless:
