So Celebrity Apprentice is down to the final two and shouldn’t it be a moment of celebration?
Apparently not when Trump is calling the shots.
First, he eliminates Maria for making an inappropriate comment. Not for performing badly or actually doing anything related to the competition. Nope. That would make too much sense.
Honestly, I’m not even going to bother writing much about the events of this week. They just aren’t worth your time. Trump has managed to choose the two worst competitors for the final two and for what reason?
Sharon showed a lot of weakness, I’ll admit, but Curtis was sent home for…nothing. He performed phenomenally all season and helped his team succeed.
He made everyone love him and looked good doing it. So I can think of only one reason why the rocker who always overslept and the bitchy actress who lost more than she won made it to the finale.
Sympathy. Clearly Trump thought this was called “Celebrity Sob Story” and, therefore, decided it appropriate to put the two parents in the finals.
Maybe that would impress some people, but not anyone who was interested in the show for the sake of, oh I don’t know, the actual competition.
All I can say is, Curtis, you got robbed. I think Maria’s comment just about sums up the season as a whole. It was good until the last ten minutes.
So enjoy the finale guys, if you can. I can’t say I will be tuning in, not when neither deserves to be there:
