The Celebrity Apprentice Recap: It's Music Versus Comedy In The Finale Recap and Commentary by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Gayl Killough
May 21, 2012
Who wins it?
The winner of this season of Celebrity Apprentice was announced in a live finale.
The final two are Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall. Each one bring something unique to a win.
I have been asked why I have not really said anything about Lisa being rude and unprofessional.
I definitely agree that Lisa was rude and unprofessional, and I definitely don't think Dayana in particular should have been treated the way that she was by Lisa, but I place a high value on truth.
I would much rather many times over deal with someone like Lisa who tells me what she doesn't like to my face than to deal with someone like Aubrey who can smile with a condescending narcissism put down at me while stabbing me in the back.
I think in the long run, mental cases as Lisa describes herself is not as unprofessional as underhanded, manipulative, backstabbing.
Lisa was just more obvious with her unprofessional display, but I don't think that Lisa was the most unprofessional contestant.
As for Aubrey, if this format did not rely so heavily on being a teamplayer, I might feel different about her, because Aubrey was a really strong individual player, I think Aubrey has a lot more to learn about playing with others, and valuing something other than her creativity.
May Aubrey be on a reality show in the future where I feel comfortable rooting for her, otherwise she greatly overstayed her worth to the teams.
Every year, the firings seem to be in a wacky order, this season, maybe I just noticed it more.
I remember the prediction told by Arsenio that Reuben Studdard, not to be the first African-American man to lose to Clay Aiken in the very first episode.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
I did have a vibe at that very moment that Arsenio and Clay could be the final two, but I honestly immediately blew it off, because it seemed to be so many other strong people in the cast.
