Dancing With The Stars Recap: Len's Crackling, Carrie Ann's On Drugs, Bruno Loves The Package Recap and Commentary by RTVC Staff Writer Melissa Stavarski

There are lantern-lit trees on the dance floor. They’re obviously there to distract us from Gavin’s attempt at dancing. The entire thing was very awkward, but he looks to be having fun.
Len does not look like he’s having fun. He likes the flow-y routine but feels Gavin was too stiff and lacks musicality. For him, it wasn’t the greatest.
Bruno tells Gavin he needs to learn to link the moves and not stiffen up in the wrong places. Gavin retorts with, “I sometimes stiffen up at the wrong times too.”
Moving right along, Carrie Ann thinks Gavin has great music interpretation and disagrees with Bruno’s assessment of his flow between movements.
While the judges look for their paddles, Brooke asks Gavin why he’s so shy. Gavin talks about being in the middle of a pretty sandwich and moves around like he has to pee.
Scores are ready, thank goodness. From Carrie, a seven. From Len, a six and some boos from the audience. From Bruno, a seven. The teleprompter tells Brooke that’s a 20.
I obviously do not recognize our next dancer, as I fast-forward through half of his segment. It must be the Disney kid, Roshon. Roshon Fegan is paired up with Chelsie Hightower. Team Rochee.
According to Roshon, we may know him from Shake It Up! Not me. How about you?
He’s not intimidated by being the youngest competitor. He’s there to represent, yo.
Chelsie is back. Yay! She thinks Roshon looks like a lost puppy dog on the dance floor.
Roshon concludes there’s a big difference between the Cha Cha and freestyle dance.
I so wanted to hate the Disney kid. For no particular reason. But, that was superb.
I have zero insight on how much of that was Cha Cha and how much was just awesome footwork with a super cool chaise lounge, but I’m impressed.
I’m glad, because I like Chelsie, and this kid can definitely keep up with her. For the first time tonight, I found myself thinking, who’s the pro and who’s the star, again?
I also like the music.
Bruno is jumping out of his chair, so it must be his turn to speak. Bruno screams, Roshon’s unbelievable with razor-sharp feet. I’m blinded by the bling on Bruno’s finger.
Carrie Ann says, “That’s the coolest spin I’ve seen on the cha cha in all 14 seasons.”
