Expedition Impossible: Come With Me To The Kasbah Recap by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Logan Huffman July 1, 2011
Holding the early lead.
Previously on “Expedition Impossible”, 13 teams began the expedition of their lives, and immediately, the Country Boys struggled, with Chad nearly quitting before the journey had barely begun, while Ellie of Mom's Army struggled with her fears while scaling a cliff.
The Fab 3 proved themselves to be a strong team, while the Gypsies won the very first stage.
In the end, after being in the back of the pack all day, Grandpa's Warriors finally slid into twelfth place, and Latin Persuasion became the first team to be eliminated.
The teams are preparing to begin stage two.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
They will first have to travel seven miles to an ancient Kasbah where their first Checkpoint awaits.
They will reach the Kasbah by first trekking to an outpost with wild stallions, and riding these stallions to the Kasbah.
The teams will be released in waves according to how they finished stage one.
Since the Gypsies won stage one, they will get a five minute head start.
The Gypsies take off, and Akbar of the Football Players says that he thinks the Gypsies think they have the race won, but Akbar is in shape now, and his team is going full throttle.
He confirms to us that he did just speak in the third person. We'll see if he can back up his confidence.
Eric of the Gypsies does think his team has a strong advantage: they've traveled to over 30 different countries between them so they know and have experienced many different cultures.
As the guys reach the horse outpost, John tells us that they assumed that Arabic would be the widely spoken language on the Expedition, so they brought an Arabic phrase book.
However, unbeknownst to them, while they try to play smart and ask which horse is the best, the local tells us that they all have four legs and are the same. These locals are awesome!
The Fab 3, the Football Players, and Team Kansas are the next teams to depart.
The Fab 3 thinks they are underestimated with two gay guys and a girl on their team, adding that they hope they are underestimated, as it will help them.
The Country Boys, No Limits, the New York Firemen, and the Fishermen depart next. Country Boy Nick thinks everyone is physically whipped, but they will just keep pushing through.
