THE GYPSIES
John Post - Taylor Filasky - Eric Bach
Current Ranking: 1         Previous Ranking: 1
Although John rolled his ankle again, the team managed to power through day two without any issues. They stumbled through day one, but they knew that they could catch up. While I didn't like how John wanted to make sure their team was invincible, it was a decent technique for winning. The Gypsies are showing some signs of fatigue but they are still the team to beat.

THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS
Akbar Gbaja-Biamila - Robert Ortiz - Ricky Sharpe
Current Ranking: 2         Previous Ranking: 2
The quiet Footballers have been steady racers throughout the whole season. While they struggled with their day one kayak/catamaran section, they made up time when they were on solid ground; their build isn't the best for boats. The Footballers have determination and are willing to sprint to catch up to teams in front of them. They don't need an alliance, but having a safety net is always good to have.

FAB 3
Ryan Allen Carrillo - Kari Gibson - AJ Gibson
Current Ranking: 3         Previous Ranking: 5
Poo couldn't stop this team from racing. They spent day one in circles, screaming at one other, but the team thrives after all the contestants yell at each other. The next day the three were focused, save Kari's stomach, and were powering through every challenge. I question if they even needed the help from the Footballers. The alliance they have with the Footballers seems one-sided for the Footballers. They know that they are physically stronger than the Fab 3, so keeping them around would allow the Footballers to overtake them on a footrace. We'll see if their alliance backfires on them next week.

THE COPS
Robert Robillard - Dani Henderson - Jim Vaglica
Current Ranking: 4         Previous Ranking: 6
The Cops have been solid, but in the background of legs and even with six teams left, the cops didn't stand out. All we saw from the Cops was that they decided to follow No Limits' wind path, which gave them a chance to get first place. What worried me the most about the cops was they were outrun by a team that had a blind guy and a guy with one leg.

NO LIMITS
Erik Weihenmayer - Jeff Evans - Aaron "Ike" Isaacson
Current Ranking: 5         Previous Ranking: 3
Ike is amazing. If I was convinced that other people actually watched this show, I would think that everyone should use Ike as a standard for pushing past the pain. The team is now on borrowed time, just waiting for either a team to mess up (like the California Girls) or struggle with part of a leg. Jeff is one of the strongest contestants out there, having to deal with two handicapped contestants and pushing hard. If they do make it to the final, they would need a lot of luck because Ike would probably be feeling even worse as each leg progressed.
