For Love Or Money 3 Recaps
For Love Or Money News
July 6, 2004
Last night a rather lack luster For Love Or Money ground to an end. If you missed it, Preston chose PJ and they both went for Love, not money. We'll see how long it will be before we here about them calling it quits.
Meanwhile, loser Rachel Veltri is not happy about the way she was portrayed on the show. The New York Post reports that she called the producers crying about the "evil" way in which the editing portrayed her. She "appeared to act somewhat like a psychotic ex-girlfriend" and "[i]t seemed as if she sulked when things didn't go her way and lied when other contestants pressed for details about her dates with the show's bachelor," according to the Post. The paper quotes Rachel as saying she "called [the producers] crying. I said, 'You guys told me that you'd never be able to make a good person look evil,' but you did a damn good job of it."
We watched her lie, we watched the arched eyebrows, we heard her interview that it was all a game about money. Last night we heard her say, "There is nothing wrong with being the bad guy if the bad guy walks away with the money in the end." But of course that was all just editing.
Unfortunately that is not the last we will hear of Rachel. Next Monday, For Love or Money 4 premieres with, you guessed it, Rachel. But in an interesting twist they are also bringing back Andrea. Two girls and 15 guys.

NBC's third edition of For Love Or Money will premiere on June 7th.
For Love Or Money 4 is one of seven mid-season shows that NBC is preparing to slide in, as needed, following the August Summer Olympics telecasts.
The twelve episode FLOM 3 has a big new twist. Yeah, I know there is always a big new twist, but this one may actually be big and new. Host Jordan Murphy will ask the sixteen female contestants a question; "What is the price of love?" The answer each woman gives will be disclosed to the bachelor looking for love. We assume the women will not know that is going to happen. Who's going to chose love, or money, or is there a chance for both. We predict this one will carve out an even bigger audience than the last two editions.
