I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here: Spiedi Wants To Go Back To The Jungle June 17, 2009
Proof that being on Reality
TV does not mean you are
in touch with reality.
Spencer Pratt says he is ready to return to I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here. The Hills star tells MTV News he and new wife Heidi Montag attempted to return but the cast didn’t want them back and Heidi’s doctor told them she shouldn’t return.
“I actually was just letting NBC know that I am ready to go back. I’m ready. I got a whole new attitude about it,” Pratt tells MTV. “We tried to go back but the cast said they would mutiny if we showed up!”
“And the doctor told me I couldn’t,” Montag added.
The couple left the show earlier this month after they were put in the Lost Chamber. Pratt’s sister Stephanie Pratt claimed the couple didn’t have food or water and were 'tortured.' After they were released from the chamber, Montag began throwing up and was hospitalized.
“Heidi was virtually on her deathbed. She’s never been sicker in her life. I can’t believe that NBC did that,” Stephanie told People magazine.
Montag and Pratt recently appeared on the Today show and were interviewed by Al Roker. After Roker grilled them on their erratic behavior on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, the couple went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and claimed they were “personally attacked” by Roker.
Montag said the weatherman was “rude” and “mean-spirited” towards her and warned other women of being interviewed by him.
