Nashville Star 4 - Jared Ashley

Jared
Jared Ashley hails from Hobbs, New Mexico, but attended high school in both Hobbs and Newnan, Georgia. He began singing at age 10 and is proficient in a variety of instruments including: guitar, bass, piano and even the tuba. Travis Tritt's "Help Me Hold On" was the first record he ever bought, and Jared would most like to do a duet with either Kenny Rogers or Carrie Underwood.

Jared's goal in life is to play music for a living, tour and see the country, and have the best career possible. He hates karaoke, but if you twisted his arm, Jared would sing "Amazed" by Lonestar. The best adjective Jared would use to describe himself: ambitious - something he shares with fellow New Mexico native Melanie Torres.
