Neon pink? Really?
This week on Project Runway, the designers went to Michael Kors' showroom for inspiration, but the mood in the workroom was darkened for some as they learned of Andrea's departure - and then, dealt with another contestant who quit; and, still another who admitted he'd also like to leave the show.
Good grief; didn't we just see this on the Biggest Loser?
Of course, those who left the weight loss show reported other motives than feeling overwhelmed by the process, but it resulted in the exit of several contenders from that show.
During this episode, as everyone was weighing in - with assorted opinions - about Andrea's resignation, a strangely serious Kooan calmly announced his own decision to quit the show.
The other designers urged him to stay; to reconsider his decision, but he solemnly told them - and, then told Tim Gunn - that he knew "there are other ways to make it in this business."
He hugged them all goodbye, and caused Nathan to admit he, too wants to quit, and left his pixie-like joie de vivre in the workroom.

Though many of the remaining designers scorned those who chose to leave, "you don't just quit like that; after gaining a place on the show!" was a common refrain, they couldn't waste much time on their musings about the departed; they had a challenge to prepare for.
In Michael's shop, he told the contestants "his customer" was "a woman on the go."
The designers had to create a garment that would be ideal for a similar woman - while still speaking to each designer's personal style.
Many got Kors' point: the garment had to be versatile and have the ability to withstand a busy day. In other words: wrinkle-resistant.
Most also heard his instructions to make the outfit something that could easily transform itself into something that could be worn for an evening on the town.
Within a few minutes, Tim was back with news: because of Kooan's departure, the producers had decided to reinstate the loser from the previous challenge: Raul was back!
Many greeted him with joy, but some pouted at the producers' decision; deriding Raul's lack of sewing skills.
