Project Runway: "You Don’t Have To Have Crown To Be A Queen"

"Greatness awaits."
With seven designers left, this week’s episode of Project Runway had its fair share of technical difficulties. As far as the challenge for the week, host Heidi Klum hints that the designers must take their designs to the “next level.” The contestants didn’t really know what to think.

Soon distinct designer, Vivienne Tam, pays a visit. Tim explains how Tam has a way of mixing the “art of fashion with technology” and soon the designer’s challenge started to unfold – to create their own textiles using their TouchSmart touchscreens.

While most of the designers took to the challenge without hesitation, some were a bit apprehensive in which direction to take.

Mila gets to work as she paints. Those who have been watching this season are probably surprised she didn’t do her color block theory.

This time around, Mila is not the only one that sees Emilio’s print as a bit confusing.

The next morning Jonathan says it best with, “you never know how the runway is going to go.” As the designers give their garments their final touches, the show begins.

Judges Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Vivienne Tam sit awaiting the diverse textiles and pretty prints. One thing is for sure, these designers prove that they are their own designs’ biggest fans.
