We're finally down to the final three Project Runway contestants and all three have a very distinct aesthetic.
I'm hoping that even in such a short amount of time that their efforts pay off and we see some beauty that would rival having weeks to make a full collection.
It was nice seeing Joanna Coles, Georgina Chapman, and Isaac Mizrahi talking to the final three contestants and giving them real advice.
I understand that Mondo has probably heard similar advice from Michael Kors or Nina Garcia, but I think getting advice from established people in the fashion industry was what the contestants really needed, especially Michael who doesn’t seem to have the same evolved aesthetics that Mondo and Austin have.

I found it interesting that with time running out and stress growing; even the friendship between Mondo and Michael started to fracture.
Seeing them on the after-show, they clearly are friends, but Mondo wasn't in the right place to talk to people at that moment.
In the end I still see Mondo winning the whole show, even with the stress of day one; he’s managed to produce some great outfits.
I think that Austin has a shot, but his concept and over-the-top nature may not be as accessible as “therapy.”
Michael has a small shot, but I think when Joanna called his collection commercial, that was the nail in his coffin.
