Nobody is surprised.
Okay, I’m back, and disgusted as ever as this episode (number six) seemed to bedazzled by Kim’s idea of a second track from Kandi, and upset that “The Rain Didn't Mean a Thing” didn’t mean the track that she was going to do with Kandi’s idea of the rain.
In my opinion, Kim was more upset with the fact that Kandi told her in order to do this next track, she would DEFINITELY need a tuning coach because her pitch is definitely off! I think there is more to Kim being off than meets the eye!
Suddenly, now, we are seeing a little more of Lawrence, Sheree’s hair stylist, working with Kandi about coming out of the closet and to my surprise, the bro can actually sing!
So Kim goes and asks NeNe to listen to her new track that Kandi graciously laid out for her and asking NeNe about her thoughts. You could tell on NeNe’s face that she had other thoughts about the track, but the fact that Kim was willing to have NeNe help petition to Kandi a brand new idea about “The Rain Didn’t Mean a Thing”, that NeNe suddenly was onboard!
Kim’s reasoning is that her fans expect more out of her… not realizing that those fans just want to hear and see her look more stupid than she did in “Tardy for the Party”, which by the way is getting on my last nerve already!
And why Kandi and NeNe don’t get to the point to little Ms. Kim about how horrible she really sounds is beyond me! I don’t think ANY voice coach could do Kim any justice other than letting her know that she sounds like true garbage on a hot day and that she needs to do all the dogs in the ally a favor and hang it up!
Kandi boots Kim out of the studio so she could work with her new protégé who CAN actually sing and I, for one, am rooting for Lawrence and his “Closet Freak” single if for no other reason than to see how HIS show production plays out.
I have a feeling that the get ups he’s known for wearing will be amplified times 50 once Kandi’s done with him. Which brings me to my next question: Is Kandi in trouble for money?
I mean, I ask this because she’s used to working with better known artists and now that she’s dabbling in the “under-known”, makes me wonder if she’s looking for the next one-hit wonder?
Meanwhile, we discover that Cynthia’s baby.....
