Real Housewives NYC: I Love Me Some Housewives!
Recap by RTVC Staff Writer Teri C.
May 6, 2009
This week on The Real Housewives of New York I am sad to say we are at our final episode ? As the finale airs we get to see Charity Wives. Yes, Jill’s charity fundraiser is approaching and it is the last show so I can bet all the wives will be in attendance. Even if only for a short time (hee hee…)

We start with Jill letting us know that she is over Bethenny and Kelly’s issues. It’s time to move on. I think that’s a good idea. Someone should let Kelly know. Anyhow, Jill was all ready for the meeting with her wine and food and conversation. Ramona is missing and Jill is wondering why people didn’t want to mingle and eat her food. So the meeting starts and tickets are undersold.

Then Ramona shows up and tells Jill she thought it was at someone else’s house and then it took her 20 minutes to get to here [Jill’s]. She takes a seat and then they started talking about the sign that is behind people as they walk the red carpet. Jill said she was going to put Zarin Fabrics on the sign. Ramona almost DIED at the thought. Ramona thought it was tacky to promote your own business when you are trying to raise charity for your daughter’s disease. Then, the battle ensued. Ramona just started to say, “Let’s move on.”

But Jill just kept yelling back at her and finally…they moved on. Then Alex shows up with :::gasp::: OUT Simon!! Who knew? Then she tells everyone that she hasn’t sold a single ticket. Ramona lets us know that this is exactly why she doesn’t like Simex. They add nothing to nothing. It’s has upset Jill that Alex hasn’t helped, at all. Ramona and LuAnn agree.

The Count and Countess arrive at NASDAQ to ring the opening bell. They donate to the Auditory Oral School of New York because it seems that the Count had lost hearing in one of his ears so it was very close and dear to their hearts. They picked out a boy named Yanni (?) from the school and then went up to the stage and counted down to the opening bell. Then Coun-tess, as the announcer said, rang the bell. Then they signed their names on this screen and it displayed on the reader board outside, in Times Square. They all gathered together for a picture outside. Not much in this segment.

Jill decides to sit down with Ally and have the talk. Jill gives her a choice of the sex talk or the drug talk. Jill starts to have the talk and both of them just start laughing hysterically because both feel so idiotic and have a hard time getting anywhere. The great thing was at the end Jill told Ally that she would never judge her. She may not agree with everything, but she’ll never judge her. It was sweet.

The Countess asks Bethenny to come over and give Rosie cooking lessons. If she wouldn’t Rosie would leave for cooking school and the Countess cannot afford to live without Rosie that long. So Bethenny comes over and they cook pasta. Something a skinny diet doesn’t really call for.

However, Bethenny helps them out with the healthiest pasta she can. While their cooking, Bethenny tries to get LuAnn to move aside and leave the cooking to Rosie and her. While they are cooking Bethenny starts to hit Rosie up for dating advice. Rosie has been dating a man for a year and thinks she’s in love. That’s sweet. All three ladies sit down to eat their dinner. While their eating they talk about dating. Bethenny comments she can’t believe she is asking Rosie for dating advice. If someone will listen she will talk about her dating life with them. Then she adds, “I’m going to start talking to Johan and Francois.” LOLOLOLOL oh my gosh now that was funny. I mean the part where she calls those two ruckus rousers by their real names. I mean, if I was in France, I get it. But please. What posers.

Jill and Kelly go out to start.....
I, live in Tacoma, WA, with my husband, Ricky and my 3 dogs, Shaka, Harleigh and Parker. I am an 8th grade teacher and LOVE working with that age of children. In addition to all things reality TV, I love Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, TLC and Discovery Health. I'm addicted to time management PC games and IM'ing. If you'd like to chat you can add "Terencia" to your Yahoo! Messenger or e-mail me at TeachingTeri@gmail.com. I'm open not just to RH (of OC, NYC or Atlanta) but most any reality show. If I am currently watching it, I'd be glad to give you my OPINION as always :-)
