Stimpy’s Thoughts
Okay, well since he’s been given the nickname The Dick™ by yours truly, I think it’s safe to assume that I didn’t particularly care for him during his first go around in Samoa.
That being said, I will acknowledge that The Dick™ ain’t a bad player. But he’s not the best by any stretch of the imagination, despite his protestations to the opposite.
Quite simply, The Dick™ ain’t the best because he fails miserably in one very important area: he doesn’t give a shit what anyone thinks about him.
In a social game, where at the end, you have to convince people you played with and voted out to reward you with a million dollars, you damn well better give a damn.
A big one.
Not realizing that cost The Dick™ huge last time around.
I don’t think it will this time.
Nope, what’s gonna get in his way is his freaking ego, and his hubris.
Last time out, no one saw The Dick™ coming and that benefited him. And, even though everyone out there is unfamiliar with him, it ain’t gonna take long for most of this crew to figure him out.
And then he’s dead.
It was one thing to get the better of a bunch of first-timers, but this time around he’s dealing with people who’ve played this game before.
Even though The Dick™ is professing that he’s got more than enough to outwit and outthink these ‘All Stars’, he clearly doesn’t have a freaking clue what he’s getting in to.
He’s probably not stupid enough to think he can manipulate Rob, but I could be wrong there. He may very well try. And fail miserably.
But if anyone reading this thinks The Dick’s™ spiel is gonna go over with the likes of Parvati, Jerri or Danielle, then I’ve got some swampland in Florida to sell ya.
I’m willing to bet that The Dick™ is gonna go like a bull in a china shop right outta the gate, like he did last time, only this time, it’s gonna bite him in the ass, big time.
Here’s something to consider: The Dick™ headed out for this upcoming season before the finale for the last season aired.
He may have had a clue at the Final Tribal Council that the past season was slipping away, but he probably thought he still had it in the bag.
Surprise!
So, after it went to shit, The Dick™ wanted to buy the title of ‘Sole Survivor’ from Natalie.
Would he have done that if he’d even come within sniffing distance of the finals this time out?
Yeah, didn’t think so.
I think it was his ego seeking any sort of validation he could get for it, and that’s why he tried to buy the title.
Because he already knew that he wasn’t gonna get this time out.
