Stimpy’s Thoughts
Y’know it’s not often that I can find someone so full of themselves amusing, but Tyson manages to pull it off.

I guess it’s not hyperbole in his video when he says he’s charming.

‘Cause if he wasn’t charming, I’d probably hate his guts.

That’s not to say that I like the guy. Quite the contrary. But I do find him amusing. He’s more of a cartoon character than a real person.

I mean, no one can really be THAT full of themselves, can they?

Um, yeah, actually.

So, that being said, what do I, your humble scribe, think of Tyson’s chances?

Not much.

It’s one thing to have confidence in one’s own abilities. It’s another entirely to have confidence because of the perceived lack of ability in the competition.

And methinks that’s where Tyson is gonna get got. I think he tends to underestimate everyone else out there.

And that’s a mistake.

Of course, then the guy says his dream alliance would be with Cirie, because if they kept it on the down-low, they’d shock the shit outta the world.

I tend to agree.

But, since they’re on opposite tribes to start, we can put that one on the back-burner.

So, where does that leave Tyson? Does he hook back up with Douche™? One would think it’s a ready made alliance, right?

Except when you consider how well that worked out for Tyson last time around.

At any rate, one thing I’m interested in seeing, is Tyson and The Dick™ trying to out-ego each other.

That alone could cover one full episode.

Kidding aside, Tyson does bring some shit to the table, but, like The Dick™, his ego and hubris are gonna get the best of them.

It’s one thing to go into a game like this with returning players full of confidence in your own abilities.

It’s another entirely to go into it thinking your shit doesn’t stink and that the others are beneath you.

That’s a sure-fire recipe for disaster.

I can see Tyson being a fairly early boot if the rest of the Villains decide they don’t need his physical prowess.

If they do decide to keep him around and yoke his strength, it’s gonna end up much like it did in Tocantins for the most atypical Mormon in history (discounting of course, our gay Mormon friends, Rafe and Todd….seriously, GAY Mormon?), in that he’ll be cruising along and get knifed when he least expects it.

And, I guarantee, the people responsible for Tyson’s ouster will be beneath him, in his mind of course.

I can almost assure you that Tyson ain’t winning this thing, and I get the feeling he’s not gonna be the factor he thinks he’s going to be.

He may make the merge, but even that feels like a stretch.

Tyson won’t like hearing this, but there are much better players out there.
