Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains: "Stupid Is As Stupid Does"
Commentary and Snarkfest by RTVC Staff Writer Stimpy
March 12, 2010

What were they thinking!
Welcome again one and all to the commentary session on Survivor Heroes vs. Villains episode five.

Or, more appropriately, Stimpy’s Snarkfest on Survivor: Stupid is as Stupid Does.

I don’t recall seeing this much stupidity from a cast of newbies, and these people are supposed to be returning All-Stars?

Well, as I am wont to do, I shall invite myself to call the complaint line: 1-800-555-SIGH.

Well, since it’s gotta be done, let’s get to it, shall we?

Okay, we start off at the Heroes’ tribe following Cirie’s ouster, and JT is in damage control mode.

And, doing a piss-poor job of it.

He may have been able to charm a lot of people during Tocantins, but I don’t know if it’s gonna have the same effect with this crew.

I did it for the team? I woulda told ya if I’d known what I was doing before Tribal Council?

That’s what he came up with?

If you do have to go into damage control mode after a Tribal Council where you’ve flipped your vote, please, try and come up with something better.

JT did do a bit better of a job with it, saying the reason he did it for the team was because Cirie was always good until things got dicey at the merge, and he felt things were going to get dicey soon.

Fair enough. Even though that’s not actually the case. Cirie has never moved against her own post-merge until her own were the only ones left.

And, Ozzy in Micronesia doesn’t count, since Cirie’s true alliance was with Amanda and Parvati.

Just sayin’.

The other problem though was that whole ‘I didn’t know until I got to Tribal Council’ crap.

That doesn’t work on any level, especially for a guy that everyone has already seen play the game, AND who’s won a million dollars.

You wanted Cirie gone? Fine. Say so. Even in damage control mode, you can go that way, and just tell the others that the only reason you didn’t say anything was because you knew it would raise hell.

Done.

Yeah, others may be pissed, but that’s a damn sight more easy to swallow than ‘sorry I didn’t know what I was doing’.

Blech.

The next morning, JT kept up damage control mode by really working on Amanda something fierce.

Too fierce as it turned out.....
