This week on ‘Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains’, the Heroes hoped to keep their winning streak going in order to even the tribes up, while Coach was crushed by the negative comments Sandra made about him at the previous Tribal Council.
Both tribes picked out items from a Sears catalog for their Reward Challenge, which the Villains tribe ended up winning.
When they opened up the toolbox that they had won, Russell discovered a note in the knife sheath. The note was a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. Sandra encouraged everyone to not search for it, and if anyone did, regardless of finding it or not, they would be marked for elimination. Everyone agreed to not search for it, but Russell went to search to no avail, which made his tribe agree to band against him.
The next morning as they were making their coffee, the Heroes tribe found a note in their jar of coffee they had won, also leading to a Hidden Immunity Idol. After a frantic dash, Tom ended up with the Idol, but Amanda caught him stashing it in his sock, and proceeded to tell nearly everyone that he had it in his possession.
At the Immunity Challenge, Rob took control of his tribe and led them to yet another victory.
Back at the Heroes’ camp, Cirie assumed everyone was sticking to the plan of booting outsiders Tom and Colby, while Tom and Colby were scrambling to stay in the game.
JT wanted to boot Candice, and Tom offered JT and Amanda his Idol in exchange for their votes. After Amanda informed Cirie of the plan, Cirie tried to convince her that voting off Candice was the wrong move, which JT overheard, prompting him to want to switch the vote to Cirie, while being torn on continuing on with the original plan.
At Tribal Council, JT backstabbed his former allies, and after Tom played his Idol, his three votes were nullified, making the three votes against Cirie enough to eliminate her from the game.

Rob
Current Ranking: 1         Previous Ranking: 2
Rob moves up to first place this week. Rob proved that he is in clear control of his tribe this week, especially with his strong leadership during the challenge this week that ultimately led his tribe to victory. Rob seems to be well on his way to another strong game.
|
JT
Current Ranking: 2         Previous Ranking: 4
JT moves into second place this week. JT seems to be the one in control of his tribe at this point, and seems to be the one controlling the alliances. He was the one who lobbied for Cirie’s elimination, which was a smart game move considering how strategic of a player she is. JT should be around for a while.
|
Parvati
Current Ranking: 3         Previous Ranking: 3
Parvati remains in third place this week. Parvati is a strong, persuasive player, and I have a feeling she will be delivering another strong performance this season.
|
Candice
Current Ranking: 4         Previous Ranking: 8
Candice jumps up to fourth place this week. The previews seem to indicate that Candice wants to join up with Tom and Colby next week, which would take her game (and Tom and Colby’s game) to another level. Ultimately, she has all of the power on who to team up with, leaving her in an extremely strong position for the time being.
|
Tom
Current Ranking: 5         Previous Ranking: 17
Tom takes a massive leap twelve spots up the scoreboard to fifth place this week. With the discovery, and subsequent play, of the hidden Idol, Tom’s game seems to have taken a major upswing. He is also doing most of the main strategizing for himself and Colby, and his efforts paid off this week. Tom seems to be actually out of the woods now.
|
Colby
Current Ranking: 6         Previous Ranking: 15
Like Tom, Colby rises up towards the top of the scoreboard this week. Tom’s efforts seem to have lifted him and Colby from the bottom of the totem pole. With this new position in the game, and Colby’s physicality, Colby could be sticking around for a while.
|
Jerri
Current Ranking: 7         Previous Ranking: 5
Jerri ranks in seventh place this week. We haven’t seen too much of Jerri strategy-wise thus far, but she has been performing fairly well in the challenges, and seems to be in a better position than a lot of her tribe mates at this point.
|
Sandra
Current Ranking: 8         Previous Ranking: 6
Sandra ranks in eighth place this week. Sandra is making bold moves that seem to be beneficial for her game. Encouraging everyone to not search for the Idol and then busting Russell on it was extremely smart. If she can end up eliminating Russell due to that suggestion, it will be a fantastic game play. Sandra isn’t going anywhere right now.
|
Courtney
Current Ranking: 9         Previous Ranking: 11
Courtney jumps two spots up to ninth place this week. We haven’t seen too much of Courtney, and she obviously isn’t the physically strongest player, but as I noted before, she has an amazing ability to fly under the radar, and I think she will be in this for the long haul.
|
Danielle
Current Ranking: 10         Previous Ranking: 12
Like Courtney, Danielle moves up two spots this week. Courtney and Danielle are in similar positions. They have both made it to the finals before, but I think Courtney is better at flying under the radar, while Danielle seems to be a better strategist. I don’t think Danielle is in any danger at this point.
|
James
Current Ranking: 11         Previous Ranking: 13
James continues to climb the scoreboard, moving up to eleventh place this week. James’ strength is undisputable, but his attitude and mouth does rub others the wrong way. However, I don’t think he is in immediate danger at the moment.
|
Rupert
Current Ranking: 12         Previous Ranking: 10
Rupert falls two spots to twelfth place this week. Rupert doesn’t really have an alliance, but he isn’t with the majority, which isn’t good. I don’t think Rupert will be the next to go, but he needs to do something to avoid being booted soon.
|
Tyson
Current Ranking: 13         Previous Ranking: 14
Tyson moves up one spot this week. Tyson hasn’t really done anything strategic to note thus far, and I think a lot of the others on his tribe are better players and are more persuasive and better at flying under the radar. I don’t think Tyson will be going in the next few votes, but he does need to work to get into a strong alliance to ensure his success in the game.
|
Coach
Current Ranking: 14         Previous Ranking: 16
Coach moves up two spots this week, but pretty much by default. Coach is in a bad position, and he definitely is viewed as a weak player by most of his tribe. Due to Russell’s hardheadedness, I don’t think Coach will go next, but I also don’t think he’ll last much longer, either.
|
Amanda
Current Ranking: 15         Previous Ranking: 9
Amanda falls into last place for the Heroes tribe this week. Amanda is in trouble. With Cirie gone, and everyone’s attempt to boot Amanda earlier, I think Amanda will emerge as the top target, especially if Candice successfully forges an alliance with Tom and Colby. Amanda needs to scramble to forge a new alliance before it’s too late.
|
Russell
Current Ranking: 16         Previous Ranking: 1
Russell plunges into last place this week. Russell’s trick with the hidden Idols isn’t going to work this season. Although the Idols benefitted him last season, everyone agreed not to search, and he only alienated himself by going against them all. Even if he finds it, it will only spare him for one vote, and I don’t think he will be able to recover.
|
Cirie
4th Boot
I am disappointed to see Cirie go so early. She has always been one of my favorites, and she is a strong player that I enjoy watching play. Unfortunately, she should have just gone along with the plan to oust Candice, but I understand how that would have screwed her over in the long run. JT recognized the threat that Cirie was, and decided to go after her now. Cirie became the fourth castaway to be booted from ‘Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains’ in a 3-3-2 vote.
|
Randy
3rd Boot
I didn’t really expect Randy to get that far, so I am not completely surprised that he got the boot. Gabon was a very different season strategy wise, and Randy just isn’t as strong as a player as the others on this season. Randy’s chances, and his buff, went up in flames, as he became the third castaway booted from ‘Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains’ in a unanimous vote.
|
Stephenie
2nd Boot
Stephenie is such a physically strong player, so I am surprised she went this early on that account. Unfortunately for her, she just started off wrong as far as allies go. For some reason, James had it out for her, and no one wants to go against him due to his physical strength right now. In addition, Cirie and Amanda are tight allies, and all of those factors combined sealed Stephenie’s fate. Stephenie became the second castaway booted from ‘Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains’ in a 6-3 vote.
|
Sugar
1st Boot
With everyone being such experienced players, it was impossible to predict who might be the first to go. However, I’m not too shocked to see Sugar be the first castaway booted this season. She isn’t exactly the physically strongest player, and with so many cunning tribe mates, she really needed to come out swinging strategically. She didn’t, and it cost her. However, I am glad she was on this season. Her topless moment in the challenge and going all for it for her tribe was a great ‘Survivor’ moment. Sugar became the first castaway to be booted from ‘Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains’ in a unanimous vote.
