Survivor Redemption Island: Rob Wins! Here's The Final Rankings
Commentary and Rankings by Logan Huffman

He's earned it.
This week on 'Survivor Redemption Island', the final four worried about who would return from Redemption Island and how it would affect their games.

At the final Redemption Island Duel, Andrea overcame all odds and beat the three guys, earning Redemption and returning to the game to try once again to make the finals.

At the next Immunity Challenge, Rob and Andrea both fought tooth and nail, but Ashley emerged victorious once again, and won safety from the impending vote.

Got thoughts? Post them at the end.

Back at camp, Andrea tried to convince the girls that now was the time to blindside Rob, but the girls were set on sticking with Rob's plan of sending Andrea right back out of the game.

Rob was so confident for the upcoming vote, he wanted to save his hidden Idol as a souvenir instead of playing it on the last Tribal Council it was valid.

At Tribal Council, Rob decided to err on the safe side, and played his Idol, but it didn't really matter, as Andrea was unanimously voted out of the tribe.

The next day, the final four participated in the final Immunity Challenge, where it came down to Rob and Ashley once again.

In the end, Rob slid by Ashley and won the final Immunity, guaranteeing his spot in the finals.

Back at camp, Rob reassured Ashley and Phillip that they were safe, and at the last second, he approached Natalie to backstab her friend Ashley, citing her being to big of a threat to take to the finals.

At Tribal Council, Ashley was blindsided, as her friend Natalie joined Rob and Phillip in unanimously voting her off, and making her the final member of the jury.

The next day, Phillip, Rob, and Natalie celebrated making the final three with breakfast and the burning of Phillip's infamous plum underwear.

At the final Tribal Council, the jury brought some tough questions, with many of them condemning Rob and Natalie's deceptive game play, and others pronouncing that they had no respect for Phillip.

But some jury members like David, made it clear that Rob played the best and should be the winner of the game.

In the end, Phillip did earn one vote from Ralph, but everyone else gave Rob his props, and after a decade of playing the game, Rob finally emerged victorious and won 'Survivor Redemption Island' in a 8-1 vote.

At the reunion, Russell and Phillip both showed class, as Russell congratulated Rob and shook his hand, while Phillip apologized to Steve for declaring him a racist.

Matt and Andrea showed there were still sparks between them, while Russell didn't close the door to him playing the game again.

And Grant still seemed hurt by Rob's betrayal.

Diane Hardy, a woman Phillip attended federal agent training with showed up to prove that Phillip was an actual federal agent, and David revealed that he was dating former Survivor contestant Carolina from 'Survivor Tocantins', shocking her by proposing to her, which she enthusiastically accepted.

The Sprint Player of the Season came down to Rob and Matt, with one man earning 40% of the vote, and the other earning 36% of the vote.

In the end, Rob made a clean sweep, earning 1.1 million dollars with the Sprint Player of the Season's $100,000 prize.

Next season will be season 23, entitled 'Survivor South Pacific', and Redemption Island will return, along with two more returning players trying to earn redemption.

Will they earn redemption like Rob and be able to win the game this time?

Or will they suffer the same fate as Russell and lose the game once again?

I'll be back this fall with the scoreboard to find out!
