Brett Clouser (23)
Hometown: Los Angeles, Ca.
Occupation: T-Shirt Designer

Brett Clouser grew up in Salem, Oregon before coming to LA in 2004 to attend Pepperdine University. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Clouser first decided to go the corporate route, only to find his passions were elsewhere. Brett then pursued his dream of launching a cause based clothing company which would soon become, “The Monument of Our Hearts.” An up-and-coming social entrepreneur, Clouser strives to leverage his brand to actively support and advocate for healthy body image.

Brett’s flirtatious behavior with women could be his biggest asset in the game or it could be his biggest hindrance. “I’m going to try and put up the best wall I can, but I feel like I’m going to be a sucker for a couple of them.”

Always a showman, Clouser loves to be in front of people and make them laugh. When he’s not operating his clothing company, Brett can be found in his element, the great outdoors. Never a fan of the gym, Brett enjoys trail running and extreme outdoor activities. His charm and competitive nature will make him a dynamic player and force to be reckoned with on SURVIVOR.

Brett is single and currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. His birth date is December 27th.

Stimpy’s Thoughts:
Well, my first thought was:  get a real job.

Okay, I kid, I kid.

He’s young, physically fit, and seems somewhat driven.

What’s not to like?

Youth.  Steeee-rike One!
Always a showman:  Steee-rike Two!

Okay, I’m probably being a bit too tough on the kid, but anytime someone says ‘I’m probably gonna be a sucker for a couple of them’, I take it as Survivor-speak for ‘I’m going to let my guard down at the wrong time, and thus I have no shot at winning this game’.

Y’know, to draw a parallel with another former Survivor, I’m thinking he’s kinda like Ian from Palau .  Both physically fit guys, with a social conscience.

Now, can anyone tell me how Ian’s game ended?  Yes folks, it was indeed one of the noblest things ever done in Survivor history.  But it was also one of the dumbest, and let’s be completely factual here:  Ian got played like a fiddle by both Tom and Katie leading up to that moment.

Is there any reason to believe another young, idealistic young man on Survivor won’t meet a similar end?

Maybe I’m being too literal with the comparisons to Ian, but again, and believe me folks, I’m not knocking all young’uns here, it’s just that a lot of them make similar mistakes in this game.  Just ask Erik and Jason from Micronesia.

That being said, I think Brett will probably be sociable enough, and enough of an asset that he’ll breeze into the merge, but I just don’t get a winner’s vibe outta him.  Yet.  That could change, but I doubt it.
