Oh wow. This ainít good people.
One look at the sushi chef, and no oneís gonna think heís gonna be physical force.
He lists Ďeatingí as a hobby. Nope, thatís a necessity of life, not a hobby.
His pet peeve is people who constantly complain. Ever seen this show, Jonas?
Heís out there to prove to his family that he can do it, with the million bucks that comes with winning as almost an afterthought.
He really stresses how he can cook, make shelter, build a fire. Yíknow all those traits that are nice to have, but hardly the basis for a winning strategy.
Now, Jonas does have a strategy.
Yup, he plans on going with the flow.
Not the worst thing in the world.
He at least seems aware that there is a social aspect to the game, but I donít know if he realizes how important it really is. Or can be.
Likening himself to Jud (aka Fabio) isnít the worst thing in the world, but if itís just because heís care-free on the outside, but an intense competitor on the inside, then itís a comparison that I donít really give a shit about.
Youíd think someone whoís just gone through bankruptcy would be really motivated to win the prize, but I donít get that from Jonas.
I donít even get that he really gets the game. I mean, he certainly seems to understand it in theory, but practice is hugely different,
Gotta admit here, I donít foresee good things, but hey, Iíve been wrong before.
If Jonas gets in with a solid alliance and rides it for awhile he could go deep. But, in all honesty, Iím a skosh worried about his Ďgo with the flowí non-strategy of his.
If there ever happens to be a power struggle it can be tough to figure out which way the flow is going.
Ask Dolly from Vanuatu how much fun it is to be in the middle of things, and not make a definitive solution.
I certainly donít see Jonas being a force in this game.
Like I said, he may under-the-radar his way deep, or he could be gone so quick that when someone mentions Jonas from Survivor One World, everyone will go: Who?
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
