Survivor One World: The Gods Of Foreshadowing Serve Out Some Justice Yell At Your TV Recap and Commentary by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Kathleen March 22, 2012
Mean girl,
second banana type.
Survivor One World last week saw the eviction of Monica.
Why? You would have to ask Colton and Alicia who are each playing a completely emotional game.
No one is quite sure, including these two, what the emotion is that is driving them.
They say it’s because she is dangerous.
I would say “not” because she had no alliances and was simply a strong team-oriented player.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
But, it’s all moot. She’s gone.
And to continue to try to explain what is going on in Insanity-Land, Colton has an idol and everyone knows it.
Even in some of the most fractured and delusional seasons Survivor has ever aired, a tribe in this position would have figured out how to get rid of a toxic delusional player like Colton even with an idol in his pocket.
Not this crew. Oh, Colton has the idol. We must bend to his will.
Over on the sane side of the fence, Salani continues to be strong and Kim has an idol also.
She told Chelsea. At this point no one else on either side knows about it.
This is the better way to use an idol.
Tonight the pre-caps show us the moving and shaking as people jockey for position.
In telling fashion, the re-caps make sure we remember that it was Christina who did not get the “vote Monica” memo.
If she doesn’t recognize that her fate is probably sealed AND doesn’t do something about it, she’ll be the next Manono with her name in the basket.
In the night-vision version of the Tribal Council After Party, Alicia is laughing and enjoying herself.
She is quick to disavow any loyalty she might have had to the all-girl alliance before the tribal shuffle.
Alicia is a fast thinker but not a deep thinker. In fact, most of her reactions are pure emotion of the moment.
This should make her obviously untrustworthy to her tribe. But wait! Except for Colton, her current tribe is the famous “box of rocks”. Nothing is obvious to them.
