Survivor One World: Seriously, You Can't Make This Stuff Up Recap by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Stimpy March 29, 2012
Greg sauntered up, hoping for a cup of coffee, only to be told by Jay that the coffee was for the people who ‘won it’.
Greg obviously misheard, since he replied that he ‘wanted it’.
Jay had to clarify things for him, leaving Greg a bit forlorn.
Apparently, Greg was thinking that since the tribes had merged, everything that was ‘ours and theirs’ was now just ‘ours’, but alas, it didn’t appear to be that way with the coffee.
Jay popped in to let us know privately that he was none too thrilled to be back on a tribe with some of the guys he’d just left behind in Manono.
Jay was also of the opinion that since Salani had the numbers, even though it was an individual game now, they’d stick together and take out Manono.
Next, was Greg popping in to let us know that he had been hoping that old alliances - read: the guys - would be sticking together. Now, however, Greg was forced to conclude that that wasn’t the case.
So, Greg decided to have a chat with Michael, to try and bring him over to the ‘team’. Which, according to Greg consisted of all the guys.
Michael pointed out that on a tribe of twelve, where there was six guys and six girls, that made things kind of difficult.
Greg agreed, but added that one of the women was willing to flip to their side.
Michael correctly guessed that it was Alicia, since she’d been so tight with Colton.
Privately however, Michael let us know he was just telling Greg one thing, while thinking another.
He may have agreed to stick with all the guys, but since there were guys he didn’t like or trust - Greg apparently being chief amongst them - he had no intention of going along with Greg’s ‘team’.
Then it was off to the first Reward Challenge post-merge.
Jeff announced that they’d be split into two ‘tribes’ and then four members of each tribe would run an obstacle course to dig up and retrieve a bag of puzzle pieces.
Once all four bags were back, the remaining two members of each tribe would then work to solve the puzzle.
First tribe to do it would win reward. Which, it turned out, was an afternoon of eating pizza and drinking beer.
Plus, they’d also receive a note to open while they were on the reward.
