Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X: Lucy Stimpy's Take
Septeber 6, 2016
Lucy - GENERATION X
I want to like Lucy, but I get a bit of an 'angry Asian chick' vibe from her and that's making me hedge when it comes to how I think she'll do.
On the one hand there's stuff to like here. She hopes to emulate Jeremy and is keen on getting the jury's respect. Emulating Jeremy isn't the worst thing in the world, and mentioning getting the respect of the jury shows that she sees the big picture which is also very good.
Again, I find myself in total agreement with her comments about being a Gen Xer, but it's plain to me that she has a serious case of the shits for Millenials, and that's something she's gonna have to keep under wraps. And I don't get the vibe that she's going to be able to do that. Hell the picture they posted on her profile has her wearing a look of a very pissed off woman.
And if a lack of common sense is one of her pet peeves she's gonna get that in DROVES on this show. I mean seriously, if that's an issue for you why would you even sign up?
That being said I like how she listed winning the loot as her first motivation and that is something I can get behind.
Again, there's stuff to like here, but I get the vibe that she's going to be this season's early boot because she's aggravating the shit out of everyone she comes into contact with.
Part of me hopes that I'm wrong, but seriously folks: Look at her profile pic and tell me that woman ISN'T perpetually pissed off about something.
