Survivor Millennials vs. Gen X: Meet Michelle
Stimpy's Take
Septeber 6, 2016

Michelle - MILLENIALS
Well I think we’ve found an early ally for Michaela. Michelle seems to be a fan of god as well. Any chance you think that helps those two girls form a bond?

There’s an eccentric originality to Michelle’s profile. Her job is as a missionary recruiter, yet when asked for three words to describe herself she says ‘hungry hungry hippo’.

She references the greatness of god, but later on she says she’d like to have water proof mascara because she wants to stay hot on TV.

I get the vibe that this chick doesn’t take herself too seriously, but in a good way. In that she’s not the kind of person who thinks her shit doesn’t stink, but would take a bit of offense should someone point out that it DOES stink. Y’know?

That being said, while I think Michelle’s gonna have a social game to die for, I don’t know that there’s enough there to consider her a legitimate threat to win it all.

For example she references Boston Rob, one for his skill at puzzles, but also for his ability to lead people and be the catalyst for decision-making.

Something good to aspire to for sure, but Michelle doesn’t make mention of just HOW Rob was able to lead people. He surveyed the lay of the land and adapted accordingly. In Marquesas he saw that there were more lazies than worker bees so he sided with the lazies. During All-Stars he knew that wouldn’t fly so he became a worker bee, AND deftly cut people loose that he perceived as threats early on.

Hell after that it was easy for him because every other time he ended up out there it was hero-worship gone awry.

Anyhoo, if Michelle has acumen when it comes to analyzing situations and adapting accordingly then she may be one to keep an eye on.

Ultimately it does seem like Michelle is there more for the experience, and if the win happens to come her way that’s just a perk.

Although when she says she has a unique ability to make people trust her and feel at ease around her I can’t help but think that’s an excellent attribute to have in this game. The key will be if Michelle has the chops to really use it to her advantage.
