So You Think You Can Dance: End Our Misery - Give it to Cyrus! Here's The Rankings
Commentary by RTVC Senior Staff Writer Joseph Braverman

It’s official: I have cursed this season of So You Think You Can Dance.
I don’t know what went wrong with me this season, but apparently every time I place someone in first place in the rankings, they end up leaving the next episode or two.
First Daniel, then Matthew, and now Will.
Does America really hate me that much, or have I been far too blind to see that Cyrus has had this competition in the bag since his first audition?
And then we have Tiffany Maher, the girl I said would easily leave in Week One.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
And yet, she’s the only girl to never find herself in any danger of going home.
Yes, I will say that Tiffany is good in her contemporary style -- great even -- but has she ever had a break-out moment in anything that wasn’t in her contemporary wheelhouse?
Those breakout moments are what define the winner of the show.
Granted, Jeanine never had a single “breakout” moment from her partnering work, but she was decent enough in all areas and truly shined in her solos. Is Tiffany the same as Jeanine?
I just don’t feel like Tiffany has the same star power as the Season Five winner. Do you? Again, America and I are on complete opposite sides of the voting rationale.
And gosh darn, why did Cyrus have to dance the best he’s ever danced in penultimate voting show?
I hate to admit it, but he got the rhythm down perfectly for that Jazz piece, and even personality completely catapulted what could have been a boring number into one I’ll remember. Why, Cyrus, why?
Even though Cyrus has improved, he is nowhere near the level of Cole, my favorite dancer left in the competition.
I admit, it took me repeated viewings of his and Allison’s Jazz number to allow me to appreciate how in character Cole was, because as usual Allison grabbed all my attention from start to finish.
When is this girl going to come back for a true All-Stars season and win? Bah, that will never happen because the rabid fan girls will vote for Alex Wong to win. Bah humbug!
Speaking of Alex, I didn’t particularly hate Lindsay and his Jazz routine to Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
