Amazing Race: Fast, Smart And Overcoming Fear Holds The Lead

Last week on The Amazing Race another of my favorites got sent home. Unfortunately Mark and Bill caught Sarah and Terrence's inability to read their clues. They got slapped with a penalty and it cost them the race. This week I see Christy and Kelly going after Nick and Star. These two teams seem to have a genuine dislike for each other and I have a feeling this rivalry is going to cost one of them the race. The girls confronted the siblings at the Pit Stop and it looks like it will really get ugly.
Just like last week, Ken and Tina were the first to arrive at the Pit Stop so they will get to depart first. They get to depart at 12:33 am with the next clue. Teams must now fly 6900 miles to the city of Auckland, New Zealand and then drive themselves to Gulf Harbor. Once there they will successfully have to untie a knot to retrieve a clue inside. The two take off to find a taxi and head to the airport. The airport is not open but there are places to use the Internet so teams will have to try the best flight so they will know where to be when the airport does open. The remaining teams leave at the following times:
Toni and Dallas: 12:59 am
Terrence and Sarah: 1:04 am
Southern Belles: 1:05 am
Aja and Ty: 1:06 am
Nick and Star: 1:07 am
Frat boys: 1: 08 am
Kelly and Christy: 1:20 am
At the airport, all the teams look for the best flight. It seems like the best flight arrives at 3:55 am. All of the teams are trying to make sure they are on the best flight. Well all the teams except Aja and Ty. They have decided to fight and call names. The next morning, all the teams got on the same flight. Terrence and Sarah are the first team to get out. The others follow and the race to Gulf Harbor is on. A few of the teams get lost on the way but that is not as bad as the flat tire that Ty and Aja got. Ty unfortunately does not know how to change a tire so they try to flag a car to help them. Sadly it takes a little time for someone to stop but eventually they do and the tire does get changed. At the harbor, Tina and Ken are the first to arrive with the frat brothers and Sarah and Terrence right on their tail. The frat brothers are the first to unravel the knot and discover the clue. Teams must now drive themselves to the summit of Mount Eden to find their next clue. There is also one of only two Fast Forwards in the whole game. The first team to find the Fast Forward and correctly complete it can skip all other tasks and go directly to the Pit Stop. In this Fast Forward, teams must got to the Auckland Sky tower. Using the towers maintenance ladders, they must climb from the sky deck to the top and pick up a friend. Ti na and Ken are right behind them and both teams are going to try to go for the Fast Forward.
Sarah and Terrence finish and decide not to go for the Fast Forward. Christy and Kelley and Toni and Dallas untie their know and head off. Tina and Ken beat the Frat boys to the Sky tower and win the chance to go up. The Frat boys turn around and head back to do the task. Terrence and Sarah meanwhile arrive at Mount Eden and discover a Roadblock. In this Roadblock one of them must be immersed in the local culture. They must choose an image of a traditional tattoo seen on local warriors. Then walking among the warriors, they must find the warrior that has the tattoo that matches the one they have in hand. If the match is wrong, the warrior will take their image and the team must start again. If they are right then they will get the next clue. Terrence decides to do the task but since it is dark outside, it is hard to see the warriors really well. Back at the marina, Ty and Aja finish their knot and head out leaving the Belles the only team to not find the harbor. Terrence meanwhile locates his warrior and gets the next clue. Teams must now drive into downtown Aukland and find the City Life Hotel. Once there they will make their way to the rooftop where their next clue awaits.
