Amazing Race: The Show Is Finally Terrence Free

I was talking to a friend of mine last week and she was so sure that Tina and Ken were going home last week. I tried to tell her that Tina and Ken were fighters and I didn't think they were going to go that easily. Lucky for all of us I was right. Tina and Ken are around to fight another fight and the annoying team of Christy and Kelly are gone. Those two girls proved one of my theories. You don't need to make lifelong friends on the race but you do need to play nice. For weeks the girls have done nothing but make enemies. When they got stuck on the Roadblock with the frat boys, Tina and Ken chose to help the frat boys. It ended up costing them the race. Had Tina and Ken not helped them, I don't think the boys would have ever figured it out. This week looks to include a nasty food challenge so it is probably good that they are no longer here. Can you imagine hearing those two whine thru the whole task?
Nick and Star barely beat Toni and Dallas last week but they did beat them. That means they get to depart the Pit Stop first. At 10:14 pm, the two receive the next clue. Teams must now fly 1000 miles to Almaty, Kazakhstan. When they land they will travel to a local chicken factory and search the grounds for their next clue. The two head off to find a flight. Toni and Dallas are the next to depart at 10:24 pm. They meet up with Nick and Star and the two teams find a flight together. They book their seats and head off to the airport to catch their flight. Since Dallas and Star have been flirting, the two teams have become close. The remaining teams leave the Pit Stop at the following times:
Terrence and Sarah: 10:43 pm
Ken and Tina: 11:48 pm
Frat boys: 12:00 am
At the airport, the two head teams arrive to catch their flight. The other teams begin to arrive and Ken and Tina end up on the first flight with Nick and Star and Toni and Dallas. Sarah and Terrence are not so lucky they end up having to take another flight while the frat boys end up on the latest flight. All the teams take off and head for Kazakhstan. The first flight arrives and the lead teams head to the chicken factory. Since it is the middle of the night, the factory is closed. It doesn't open until 7:30 in the morning so that means the teams must wait. With the wait, all the teams end up there before the gates open, even the frat boys. This means all teams will be on even ground the minute the gates open.
As soon as the gates open, all the teams race for the clue box. This time they get a Roadblock. In this Roadblock, one team member will enter the marked chicken shack and search among 30,000 chickens for one of only seven golden eggs. When they find a golden egg, they will receive their next clue. There is also a Fast Forward. In this Fast Forward, teams travel to a local restaurant and join in a traditional feast. They will have to eat the fat from the rear end of a sheep which is a local delicacy. When both team members finish eating their serving, they will win the Fast Forward. Terrence and Sarah and Nick and Star go for the Fast Forward. Toni, Tina, and Andrew on the other hand go in to search for the golden eggs. Toni is the first to find her egg. She heads out and she and Dallas get the next clue. Teams must now search the grounds of the chicken factory for the giant crane trucks. They must then travel by crane truck to the Koktobe arch. They must follow the marked path that will lead them to a Mongol Warrior. Once they find a Warrior, they will wait for their next clue to arrive. The two head off.
While the other teams race for the Fast forward, Andrew and Tina both find their eggs and they two head off. Nick and Star arrive at the restaurant first but Terrence and Star are right behind them. Both teams sit down to eat. Once the food is placed in front of them, Terrence shuts down. He is a vegetarian and can't force himself to eat meat. Nick and Star start eating and Terrence gives up his beliefs and chows down on some sheep rear end. Star is having some issues with the food and she is throwing up. She is still eating faster than Terrence. One of these teams is definitely going home and it does not look good for Terrence and Sarah. Toni and Dallas on the other hand have arrived and found their Mongol Warrior. They must wait for the warriors eagle to bring them the next clue which is a Detour. In this Detour, teams must choose between two tasks linked to Kazakhstan's long history of folk arts. The choice: Play like mad or Act like Fools.
In Play like mad, teams must travel by taxi to the museum of folk musical instruments. There they must learn to play a simple tune using two traditional instruments. When their instructor feels they have learned the tune, they will be sent to the park to play for tips. They must earn the equivalent of $1.50 in tips to earn their next clue. In Act like Fools, teams travel by taxi to a children's puppet theatre and find the wardrobe department. They must then put on a two person cow costume and then dressed as a cow, they must walk the streets and find a marked stall. There they must drink a glass of milk to find their next location on the bottom of the glass. They will then travel to a butcher store to deliver themselves for the next clue. Toni and Dallas decide to dress like a cow and head off.
