Amazing Race: You Can't Count The Frat Boys Out

So here we are, the last leg of the race. Can you believe the whole thing is almost over? This season has gone by so quickly. It seems like only yesterday we begin our hate of Terrence. With the final non-elimination leg over, it is time to get to it. One of the remaining teams will be gone by the end of the show and we will be left with the final three teams racing for the million. My apologies for the late recap. I had my vacation time set so that I would get back in time to watch the show and do my recap. Unfortunately, people don't seem to be able to drive very well in the rain. I was stuck in traffic for hours so by the time I got home it was to late to watch the show. Well, it is Monday and I am ready to get on with the show. Let's find out who is in and who is out.
Last week Toni and Dallas finally won a leg. For the first time this season there will be a team other than Nick and Star or Tina and Ken starting first. Toni and Dallas get to depart the Pit Stop but for the first time this season we don't get to see what time they leave. We know it is during the day but I have no clue what time. Instead, they just get the clue an head off. Teams must now travel by taxi to a local submarine. They must go into the sonar room and search for an man who appeared in the movie "The Hunt for Red October". He will give them their next clue.With the producers not giving us a time, we can only tell you the order they left. Ken and Tina left right after Toni and Dallas. Nick and Star follow with the frat boys in last place. All the teams head off to try to be the first team to find the submarine. Toni and Dallas arrive first but Tina and Ken and Nick and Star are right behind. All the teams race inside the submarine and the search for the actor. Toni and Dallas find him first and get the next clue. Teams must now travel by taxi to an outdoor museum called Park Iskusstv. They must search the grounds around the park to find the next clue. The two head out but Tina and Ken and Nick and Star find the guy within seconds of them so all the teams have the clue and head out.
While the other teams are searching for the outdoor museum, the frat boys arrive at the submarine and find the next clue. All the other teams are trying to get to the museum but there is some really bad traffic and it is really slowing some of the teams down. Nick and Star seem to have rid themselves of the taxi driver curse. This time they seem to be getting good drivers so they have little trouble arriving at the museum first. They quickly locate the clue box and find a Roadblock inside. In this Roadblock one team member must scour the monuments in the area and correctly count the number of statues of Lenin (6) and Stalin (2) and then figure out that the number they are looking for is 62. They must then head to the antique bookstore and tell the number to the shop owner who will give them a book. If they get the number wrong they must wait ten minutes before trying again. If they get it right and get the book, they must turn to page 62 and use the page to locate their next destination. If they read it correctly, it will lead them to the apartment building of a famous Russian author, Mikhail Bulgakov. When they find the building they will get their next clue. Nick decides to do the task and heads in to count. While Nick gets to work looking, Toni and Dallas arrive. Dallas decides to do the task. The frat boys on the other hand go to the wrong park so they are falling even farther behind.
While Nick and Dallas search for the correct statues, Ken and Tina are still stuck in traffic. Nick counts the statues and thinks he has the correct number so he heads over to the book owner. Tina and Ken arrive and Tina decides to search. Nick heads into the book store and correctly tells the owner the correct number of 62. He receives the book and heads off. Dallas finishes his count and he to heads to the store. He arrives at the store and gives the wrong number. He must wait for ten minutes. At the end of ten minutes he guesses again and it is still wrong. Tina finishes her count and heads to the store. Nick on the other hand has arrived at the apartment and he and Star receive the next clue. Teams must now travel by taxi to Sokol'niky park. Once there they must search the park for the lady with the Shetland pony. When they find her she will give them their next clue. The two head off for the park while the frat boys finally arrive at the first park. Tina meanwhile arrives at the store and gives the lady the wrong number. she like Dallas must now wait.
Nick and Star are wasting no time. They arrive at the next park and quickly locate the lady with the pony. She hands them a Detour. In this Detour teams must choose between two forms of transportation commonly found in Moscow, the choice: Ride the Rails or Ride the Lines. In Ride the Rails, teams must make their way on foot to the metro station and catch a ride to the 1905 station. There they must locate the marked snack shop where they will be given a traditional pastry. the wrapper containing their next clue will direct them to another train that will take them to another station. There they must locate a statue. There will be a lady waiting for them. They will trade her the pastry for a postcard with a picture of their final destination. They will go to yet another station and search the area for their next clue. In Ride the Lines, teams make their way on foot to the bus stop near the park. They will hop on a bus to a different stop. At the next stop they will find a the key maker who will give them a key to a storage locker. They will catch another bus and go to a local station. Once there they must find the locker that matches their key. Inside there will be a postcard with a picture of their next destination. They must go to the last location to find their next clue. Wow, this could be the most confusing Detour ever. Nick and Star decide to Ride the Rails and head off. Dallas and Tina keep trying but they keep guessing wrong. Finally Tina gets it right. She gets the book. Since she and Dallas worked together, Tina gives Dallas the number. Dallas finishes his time and guesses the right number. He heads off to get his mom. The frat boys meanwhile arrive at the park and Andrew decides to count. He gets his driver to help him so he quickly finishes and heads to the store.
