The Amazing Race: A Rant In Spite of Myself
Leg Seven Commentary by RTVC Staff Writer Kathleen

They haven't earned it.
I have almost nothing to say. That doesn't mean I'm speechless. Quite the opposite. I haven't got any rants or raves about the remaining teams on The Amazing Race. This is my favorite reality show and for me to have nothing serious to comment upon is, well, amazing.
Nice guys finish last. They also finish first, fourth, third and maybe even second. Ho hum.
Meghan and Cheyne. What is left to say? They are smart. They are quick. They work well together and play well with others and appear to be prepared for a long and positive future together. Oh, yeah ... they're attractive.
I'm digging pretty deep if the closest thing I can find to fuss about is Cheyne's hair and the spelling of his name. (My spell checker keeps wanting to make him a relative of our former Vice President.) Should they win? Absolutely. Will they win? Barring some bizarre taxi event, probably.

I also did not understand why Gary, who is half the size of Matt, was the one out rolling hay bales. Those suckers weigh hundreds of pounds. They are generally manipulated by fork lifts. So Pinky sits on the sidelines while his older smaller father is out there manhandling cattle fodder. Again, I'm bewildered.
And then today, it was Matt, who.....
