Meghan and Cheyne
Current Ranking: 1         Previous Ranking: 1
Meghan and Cheyne seem to be at the top of their game every week. They get things done fast and most of the time they support each other. This week they found themselves in a difficult situation at the detour, but they stayed calm and were able to keep their lead. For me, this team has to make it into the finals based on how strong of a team they are. Unless they royally screw up, they should have no problem making it to the finals.

Dan and Sam
Current Ranking: 2         Previous Ranking: 3
Even though Sam and Dan don’t always arrive first, they stay consistent from week to week and are able to finish near the top. They’re really competitive, which is good, but they need to get rid of Maria and Tiffany. If they wouldn’t have helped them at the detour they would’ve been able to finish second. With their consistency in this race they need to start worrying about themselves, instead of holding other team’s hands. On the other hand it’s pretty funny how Maria and Tiffany fond over them.

Brian and Ericka
Current Ranking: 3         Previous Ranking: 2
I believe that Brian and Ericka’s success has a lot to due with the fact that they are a fast and competitive team. This week they were able to finish fourth, even though they switched detours and had trouble with both. Next week it looks like Ericka finally breaks down and could be problematic, but I think that they can get through it. I couldn’t imagine them finishing behind some of the other teams…

Gary and Matt
Current Ranking: 4         Previous Ranking: 5
From week to week Gary and Matt somehow manage to stay in the game, even though they aren’t the strongest, quickest, or most competitive team. What I think works for them is their wit. At the detour when everyone else was stressing out they seem to be very calm and I think it’s because they just analyze the situation at hand and do the best they can. This will get them far, but eventually they won’t be able to compete with the other teams.

Flight Time and Big Easy
Current Ranking: 5         Previous Ranking: 4
A couple of weeks ago Flight Time and Big Easy were towards the top in the rankings, but this week they hit their lowest ranking yet. They made a very stupid mistake this week after they couldn’t open up their briefcase at the roadblock causing them to be in last place for most of this leg. Also this is the first week that I seemed to dislike them, especially when they psyched out Mika from going down the slide. I can see that they were trying to be competitive, but it just seemed like a mean thing to do. Putting that aside, after the simple mistake they made this week I’m not sure if they have much of a chance of making it to the finals.

Maria and Tiffany
Current Ranking: 6         Previous Ranking: 6
This leg seemed to be Maria and Tiffany’s best showing yet, but I still can’t rank them above any of the other teams. Even though they finished second, it was mainly due to Sam and Dan. If they hadn’t have helped them at the detour they probably wouldn’t have placed so high. Eventually when the boys finally stop helping them they will probably fall. It’s also pretty funny how much they like Sam and Dan. I wonder what they’re going to do when they find out they’re gay.

Mika and Canaan
Philiminated
It’s a shame that they lost because Mika couldn’t go down the waterslide, but time is everything on this race. They could’ve easily escaped being last, but the globetrotters caught up to them and surged ahead. I feel bad for them because they seem like nice people, but they just couldn’t get things done fast enough to keep up with the other teams.
|
Lance and Keri
Philiminated
I’m so glad to see Lance and Keri finally leave the race. All they did the whole time was bicker and yell at each other. I don’t know how Keri is going to cope with Lance for the rest of her life.
|
Zev and Justin
Philiminated
I’m so disappointed to see Zev and Justin go. They arrived first at the pitstop, but the passport curse struck again and I’m sad to see it take them out of the race.
|
Marcy and Ron
Philiminated
I knew that Marcy and Ron weren’t the strongest team, but I really liked them as people. Unfortunately the teams are really fit this season and they just couldn’t keep up.
|
Garrett and Jessica
Philiminated
Garrett and Jessica were both very competitive people. Unfortunately that’s what got in the way of them continuing on in the race. In the last challenge Garrett got on Jessica nerves and wound up finishing last.
|
Eric and Lisa
Philiminated
I feel bad for Eric and Lisa as they fell victim to the first ever elimination at the starting line. I can’t imagine how it must feel to not get a chance to compete on the race after being so close.
