The Amazing Race: A Non-Elimination Leg Saves Gary and Matt

Hey folks, hope you’re ready for another episode of the Amazing Race! Last week Maria and Tiffany weren’t able to complete either of the detours leading to their elimination.
With only five teams left it’s hard to tell which teams are in trouble, but I think that Brian and Ericka need to pick it up after last week, Meghan and Cheyne look like they’re going to have some trouble with the race’s first switchback, and Gary and Matt could be in a little bit of danger if they don’t pick up their pace.
Here’s how the teams did:
Dan and Sam- They’re the first to leave and learn that their next destination is Stockholm, Sweden where they have to find an amusement park. They get on the 6:55 plane to Stockholm. At the amusement park they have to get on a ride and look for an arrow pointing to their next clue. The teams then have to play ring toss and get a gnome leading to their next destination. For the detour they can either choose to use dynamite or encrypt the Viking alphabet. They choose the dynamite and finish first. For the next destination they will travel to a farm, where an infamous task has been done on the race. At the farm they have to choose from 186 hay stacks and find one of seven clues, and once they do the pit stop is right next to the farm. While Sam tries to go through the stacks Dan keeps yelling at him. After three teams already found the flag, they finally find it and arrive fourth.
Meghan and Cheyne- Manage to get on the 6:55 plane to Stockholm. Cheyne spots the arrow on the ride and choose to use the dynamite for the detour. They fight at the detour, but are able to finish third. At the farm Meghan chooses to do the task, but starts crying midway through. Finally she finds it and are able to be second at the pit stop.
Flight Time and Big Easy- They are the last team to get on the 6:55 plane to Stockholm. At Stockholm they miss the train, while Dan and Sam and Meghan and Cheyne get on. At the detour they choose to do the dynamite and finish second. Big Easy does the task at the farm and luckily finds it first making them first at the pit stop for Flight Time’s birthday.
Gary and Matt- Have to get on the 9:25 plane to Stockholm. At Stockholm they miss the train, while Brian and Ericka get on. Matt spots the arrow on the ride. On the way to the detour they get lost, leaving them behind the rest of the pack. They finish the detour last and at the farm Gary chooses to do the task. After almost three hours he finally finds the flag, but they arrive last. Luckily this is a non-elimination leg and they will have to complete a speed-bump next leg.
Brian and Ericka- Also have to get on the 9:25 plane to Stockholm. Ericka spots the arrow on the ride and chooses to do the dynamite for the detour. They finish fourth and head to the farm. Brian chooses to look through the hay stacks and finds it third making them team number three.
Luckily for Gary and Matt this week was a non-elimination leg!
Will they be eliminated next?
