The Amazing Race: Brian and Erika Get The Shaft And The Save

It’s time for another episode of the Amazing Race!
Last week Gary and Matt, being spared from the previous elimination, were forced to complete a speed bump, which only put them further behind the rest of the teams. Eventually they just couldn’t catch up and were eliminated after arriving last once again.
This week the competition’s on as the remaining four teams compete for the three places in the finals.
I think the two teams that might be in trouble tonight are Brian and Erika and the globetrotters. Tonight it looks like Sam and Dan show their competitive side when they take Brian and Erika’s taxi, which could lead to them falling behind. Also the globetrotters’ laid back attitude could cost them a spot in the finals with the rest of the teams putting their game faces on.
Here’s how the teams faired:
Meghan and Cheyne- They depart first and all the teams get on the same flight to Czech Republic. Once there they have to go to Old Town Square to find a Praga, which most of the teams don’t know is an old car. They arrive at the place first and have to go to Kawaky Toura. For the detour they choose the rope and finish before the globetrotters. The clues they receive direct them to the Estates Theater and they arrive at the roadblock first, where they have to search an opera house for a tiny mandolin. Cheyne finds it first and head to the pitstop at Prague Castle, where they arrive first.
Dan and Sam- They arrive behind Meghan and Cheyne at the Old Town Square and find out what a Praga is to get their next clue. The boys arrive at the detour first and have to choose between going down the rapids on a kayak or hanging on a rope. They choose the kayak, but flip over numerous times causing them to have to restart. When Brian and Erika arrive at the detour they switch to the rope. Luckily they finish before Brian and Erika and head to the roadblock, but they steal Brian and Erika's taxi as well. Dan finds the mandolin and they head to the next pitstop, and place second.
Flight Time and Big Easy- They arrive at Old Town Square third. At the detour they choose the rope. Big Easy is struggling and flight time is getting on Meghan and Cheyne’s nerves by going slow. They eventually arrive at the roadblock second. Big Easy eventually finds the mandolin and they also head to the pitstop finishing in third place.
Brian and Erika- They choose to take a bus and the subway to Old Town Square, which doesn’t work well when they arrive last at the place. Eventually they arrive at the detour last, but Dan and Sam are still trying to finish. At the detour they finish last and are trying to find a taxi after Dan and Sam steal theirs. They finish the roadblock last and arrive last, but are saved by a non-elimination leg.
Luckily Brian and Erika were saved by a non-elimination leg after running into trouble with Dan and Sam. Here’s the second ranking of the final four teams:
