The Amazing Race 16: You Better Shove It Down Like Nobody’s Business!

The keep their secret
weapon under their hats.
Previously on The Amazing Race 16, the teams ventured into Argentina.
Carol and Brandy continued their obsession with ousting the cowboys.
In a challenge that involved roping and lassoing, cowboys Jet and Cord came out on top, which further frustrated Carol and Brandy.
Moms Monique and Shawne weren’t able to finish the last obstacle, and became the third team to be eliminated from the race.
This week, we catch up with the teams in Argentina, following their mandatory rest period.
Jet and Cord are first to leave the pit stop at 10:57 p.m. They are told to fly over 8,000 miles to Frankfurt, Germany.
They will then catch a train to the city of Hamburg. Once there, teams will search on foot for Jungfernsteig Street, where they will find their next clue.
The cowboys drive to a travel agency, and buy tickets on a flight that departs at 11:10 the next morning.
In the next scene, everyone seems to be at the airport waiting for the same flight to Buenos Aires. From there, Jet and Cord, and Louie and Michael are flying to Frankfurt via another stop in Paris.
Carol and Brandy, and Dan and Jordan have a direct flight to Frankfurt, which seems odd, since the cowboys were the first team to leave the pit stop. Joe and Heidi, Steve and Allie, Brent and Caite, and Jordan and Jeff, are flying to Frankfurt via another stop in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
We rejoin Jet and Cord, and Louie and Michael in Frankfurt, buying their train tickets to Hamburg. I guess their connecting flight got them to Germany before the other teams’ direct flight. They both get tickets on a train that leaves at 3:37.
At 3:00, Carol and Brandy, and Dan and Jordan arrive in Germany. They also buy tickets for the 3:37 train, and run to make it. As the train leaves the gate with the first two teams on board, the second two teams arrive, missing it by seconds.
At 3:40, the plain with the remaining four teams arrives in Germany, and they board a train along with the second group of teams.
Jet and Cord, and Louie and Michael arrive in Hamburg. Their next clue is an intersection, which means that they every team has to “mutually agree to join forces with another team” to complete the next challenge. Since these two teams are in the lead, they pretty much have to pair up with each other.
