They've won four legs,
can they lose?
Previously on The Amazing Race, Brent and Caite continued their obsession with eliminating Carol and Brandy.
Brent and Caite managed to get Louie and Michael to jump on their bandwagon, and both teams agreed to U-Turn Carol and Brandy if given the opportunity.
Brent and Caite made it to the U-Turn sign first, and Caite just about collapsed with excitement at the thought of U-Turning her rivals. When Carol and Brandy found out that they were U-Turned by Brent and Caite, they were of course less than thrilled.
Despite their best efforts, the U-Turn did them in, and Carol and Brandy were eliminated from the race. Who would have thought that Caite would be the last girl standing.
With four teams left, the end is in sight.
Tonight, the four remaining teams depart from their pitstop in Singapore.
Dan and Jordan are the first to leave at 4:47 p.m. They are told to fly more than 2300 miles to Shanghai, China. There, they must take a taxi to the village of Zhujiajiao, which is known as the ‘Venice of China.’ There, waiting boats will take the teams to their next clue.
Dan and Jordan jump into a taxi and head to the airport. Brent and Caite are second to depart, at 6:18 p.m. You can just imagine how Caite pronounces ‘Zhujiajiao.’ She’s still talking about the U-Turn, and giggling about Carol and Brandy being gone. In the taxi, she says “it shows all them haters out there what I’m capable of, I’m really proud of myself.”
At the airport, Dan and Jordan find out that the first flight departs from China Eastern. They go to that ticket counter, which doesn’t open until 22:25, or 10:25 p.m.
Departing in third place are Jet and Cord, at 7:04 p.m. Jet talks about missing his wife and daughter, and Cord says he got engaged right before the race.
At 7:35 p.m., Louie and Michael depart in last place.
Jet and Cord, and Louie and Michael get to the airport, where they meet up with Dan and Jordan. Louie and Michael get the other two teams caught up on the U-Turn gossip. Meanwhile, Brent and Caite have found the airport McDonalds, and are ordering a snack. They sit down by the other three teams, and Michael says “there are my wolf cubs!” Caite recounts the U-Turning story, complete with obsessively wide eyes and bizarre excitement.
Dan and Jordan tell us that the U-Turn was driven on personal issues, and it was a bad decision strategically. They think Jet and Cord were the team to be U-Turned, since they’re so much stronger.
All four teams get.....
