The Amazing Race 16: The Llama Whisperer, Killer Cows And The Gravy Train - Ranking The Remaining 9

All aboard the
gravy train.
Hey everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the Amazing Race so far! I know I am!
Last week the teams started to the race and Jordan and Jeff were able to capitalize on an early lead, but unfortunately after Adrian wasn’t able to complete the cable walking task, Dana and Adrian weren’t able to continue on the race.
This week the teams traveled across Chile, mostly around Santiago. They had to do tasks, such as dressing llamas, jumping into ice cold water, and making a popular pie in Chile called Kuchen.
New leaders emerged as Jet and Cord were able to take a subtle lead without anyone suspecting a thing. Also new alliances emerged as Carol and Brandy decided to align with Joe and Heidi.
Two of the top teams from the last leg, Jordan and Jeff and Brent and Caite, ran into trouble when they took a risk of taking connecting buses to their next destination on the race. Luckily they were able to recover and not fall too far behind the rest of the pack.
Meanwhile Dan and Jordan, Louie and Michael, and Jody and Shannon trailed at the back of the pack the whole leg. Dan and Jordan got lost when traveling to the detour, Louie and Michael went past the detour, and Jody and Shannon weren’t able to complete the tasks quickly.
By the end of the leg Jet and Cord capitalized on their lead to take a first place finish, but unfortunately Jody and Shannon’s lack of quickness caused them to finish last leading to their elimination from the race.
I’m happy to see my favorite team finally taking control of this race. Hopefully they can keep it up!
