The Amazing Race 16: From First To Last And Last To First - Ranking The Remaining 5

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday weekend and watched The Amazing Race!
Last week Louie and Michael were finally beaten after placing first in the last three legs by Steve and Allie. On the other hand Jet and Cord slipped up one too many times and found themselves last at the pitstop, but thankfully it was a non-elimination leg.
This leg the teams found out that they will be traveling to Malaysia. They had to take a boat to the Seychelles airport and then fly to Malaysia. Then they had to travel to the snake temple for their next clue.
Detour: For the detour the teams either had to carry ten foot incense sticks up steps or balance flags for 120 feet. Steve and Allie, Louie and Michael, Carol and Brandy, Brent and Caite, and Dan and Jordan chose to carry the incense sticks, while Jet and Cord chose to balance the flags. The cowboys have a little bit of difficulty finding a taxi, but most of the other teams experience traffic along the way.
Jet and Cord end up finishing their detour first and all the teams have to travel to a temple to get their next clue. Thankfully now that they are in first they finally had to complete their speedbump, which involves identifying the correct tea a woman made. They complete it before any of the teams finish their detour.
Meanwhile most of the other teams had a hard time with other task, which is definitely harder than the detour the cowboys did, but I’m glad the cowboys took back the lead. Steve and Allie and Dan and Jordan had trouble getting to the detour so Steve and Allie chose to switch tasks, but decide to switch back. Louie and Michael and Carol and Brandy had the most trouble taking the incense sticks up the steps. Brent and Caite finished before the lesbians, but they are right behind them. Dan and Jordan and Steve and Allie were the last two teams there.
Roadblock: At the roadblock teams had to smash coconuts until they find one with a bright color inside and then built an offering to a guru. Jet and Cord arrived first and Jet chose to do the task. He was breaking coconuts left and right before finally finding a colored one. Eventually they finished and headed to the next pitstop. Carol and Brandy arrived next since Brent and Caite had trouble finding it followed by Louie and Michael. Brent and Caite eventually found the place and started. Dan and Jordan arrived and finished the task before Steve and Allie even arrived there.
The pitstop for this leg was at another mansion and thank goodness Jet and Cord ended up arriving first at the pitstop. Phil pointed out it’s the first time a team went from last to first following a non-elimination leg. Go cowboys! They were followed by Carol and Brandy (unfortunately), Louie and Michael, and Brent and Caite. The final spot came down to Dan and Jordan and Steve and Allie and the brothers ended up edging them out. Steve and Allie arrived last and Phil gave them the bad news that they were eliminated from the race.
Next week’s episode shows Dan and Jordan facing their fears of heights and Brent and Caite and Carol and Brandy finally bump heads. For now here’s how the remaining five teams rank:
