The Amazing Race: The Special Kid And His Underwear Clad Friend

I'll admit that during the detour, I was a bit offended by their fake "Ching Chong" prayer that they were doing and screaming for their mother when Ron looked like he was taking the detour seriously.

Keshia & Jen - This team has been working well together and making smart decisions on the whole. I liked how Jen pushed the car button so that they would be next on the queue, passing the Globetrotters.

Clearly, they must have gotten a bit lost since Jen was the first one out of the Roadblock and they had to ask a funeral procession for help, which is a very weird choice. I'd be looking for a police car, not a hearse.

Jet & Cord - When the travel agent exclaimed "You two are brothers?" I couldn't help but agree. One forgets that Jet (with "jet" black hair) and Cord (the ginger) are related. They showed their inability to navigate this episode, but made up for it in sheer cowboy luck finding the fake frog.

Kent & Vyxsin - How does Kent manage to do such fabulous things without looking gay? Oh, right, he still looks really gay doing it. Gay cowboy hat? Check. Hugging clue givers? Check. Being really excited about not having to reapply makeup. Check.

The two look like they are going to have another driving meltdown and I'm hoping this time that it doesn't involve a stick shift or an incorrectly used U-Turn.

Margie & Luke - They may have been keeping their "keeping the weak teams to get rid of the strong" strategy with Mel & Mike, but Margie should have trusted her instincts and took the direct flight. Outside of that, the two never recovered from being on the second plane and deciding to follow Mel & Mike.

Jamie & Cara - The race loves to place these two in situations where they have to scream at foreigners don't they? I was amazed how calmly the two were dealing with the driver. I wanted them to start screaming and bashing the guy's head in, or is that attitude only for taxi drivers?

As the race progresses, I find it harder to distinguish Jamie from Cara, especially now that Jamie's hair is starting to fade.

Mel & Mike - I realized the two could have done several things to help them along the way. They should have only asked Margie & Luke to help instead of Kent & Vyxsin because Kent & Vyxsin's general weakness is driving themselves places because of Kent's high stress factor. It's only a matter of time for Kent to self-destruct again.

Looking at the detours they should have done the "Prayer of Purity" because they were going to be freezing anyway and this is one of those teams that probably shouldn't depend on pure luck. They also knew that they were behind everyone except for Jamie & Cara and if everyone did the frog detour, there would be fewer frogs in the mud.
