And Kentucky has made their teakettle whistle and gotten their clue.
Go catch a bus to Buenos Aires. It’s an 18 hour ride. Once there they proceed to the Mercado Hacienda de Liniers.
The rest of the water boilers are cussing and fussing and watching their pots.
I wonder how often the busses run? Is this going to be another magnificent bunch up? Surely not twice in one episode. Please.
And the Border Patrol is done and on the road. Water begins to boil for Big Brother, and Army and the Clowns.
The Federal Agents were the last ones to get on the road.
The first bus to leave is carrying the Border Patrol, Kentucky, Big Brother and Army.
The next group is the Clowns, Vanessa and Ralph, the Twins and the Jersey boys.
The final bunch is the Cousins and the Feds.
Someone in that final bus called down the gods of ill fortune by saying maybe one of the busses would have a problem and their bus would get ahead.
BANG. The back window on bus #2 blew in. Glass everywhere. The bus is stopped along the roadside while the driver inspects the damage and puts cardboard and duct tape into service.
The stranded racers are pretty sure that the Buenos Aires bus that just blew past contains some teams. They are probably right.
The first bus arrives with a scramble for taxies.
The clue is a Roadblock called “where’s the beef?”
Math under time pressure.
The racers go to the largest livestock auction in the world. When the auctioneer arrives at a pen, he will announce the total weight of the cattle in that pen.
The racer must then count the cattle in the pen and do the math to come with the average weight per cow BEFORE the auctioneer moves on to the next pen.
Hmmm. Spanish? Kilos? Hmmm?
Army is first and Rachel will do the roadblock. She says she needs a calculator. He says she’s good with numbers.
Rachel figures out the drill but is finding the auctioneers yelling of numbers distracting.
Next up is Big Brother but they don’t see the clue bag right away, so they are a nanosecond behind the Border Patrol. Kentucky is up next.
