Phil steps in to tell us what is involved. If the team succeeds at the Fast Forward the racers can go directly to the pit stop, skipping all other tasks. But you knew that.
This one just says to go to another temple and find two priests.
Ralph and Vanessa get to the first temple and get their clue. They choose to skip the fast forward and play it safe about getting to the final three.
Might be a sound decision.
For some reason known only to the producers, the serene atmosphere of the temple has been invaded by dancers with bellies painted white and wearing jingle bells and tiger masks.
It’s interesting, especially the jiggling white bellies, but not what I expected in this place.
Ralph and Vanessa are off to the mat and matting place.
Art and JJ are in and out of the temple in a flash. They have decided that someone else has taken the Fast Forward for sure so they head to the mat and matting place.
The next image on our screen says “diesel”
It’s Rachel and Major Dave. Their driver had to stop for fuel. They just hope that everyone else is having trouble with transportation.
My, these two are calm today.
Meantime, Brendon and Sparkle have found the second temple and the two priests. The priests are sitting on mats.
Brendon reads the message which says that to express gratitude for good fortune, each person must have his/her head shaved.
Before they show us any reaction from Sparkle, Phil takes us back to the season I spoke of earlier. We see the emotion at the prospect of losing her headful of wonderfully crafted braids and the extreme happiness when they went on to win the million dollars.
Now we are back to Team Sparkle.
Note that during an early interview tonight Team Sparkle told us that their biggest threat was emotion. At the time I figured Sparkle was going to try to overcome.
This, however, is huge for her. Sparkle is breaking down just at the thought. What she expresses is that she paid $500 for extensions. It will be sad, she says.
I say bogus. That’s an excuse. She’s afraid she won’t look pretty. She has huge image problems as I am sure you have all noticed even if you don’t watch Big Brother.
