The Voice Recap: More Auditions, More Sad Stories, More Boys For Christina Recap and Commentary by RTVC Staff Writer Sharon-anne Osenenko September 13, 2012
Really big in China.
I’ve been watching The Voice all week, and, frankly, I’m getting sick of it.
Luckily, last night was our last round of blind auditions. For this week.
I had a thought earlier. These blind auditions are going to go on so long, by the time we hit the battle rounds, no one is going to remember who half these people are.
Anyway, Carson talks us in, claiming these are the biggest voices in The Voice history.
He gives us the team totals, thus far.
Adam’s got two on his team, Blake and Christine each have four, and Cee Lo is up to three.
Got thoughts? Post them at the end.
Samuel Mouton is nineteen, and has been singing his whole life. And now he’s going to sing on The Voice.
He cooks pizzas in his family’s restaurants. His pizza looks yummy. Actually, I skipped dinner, so just about anything looks yummy right now.
Samuel tells us he’s got a reggae influence, which kind of scares me, because he’s very white. Very.
He’s actually singing Redemption Song. And it doesn’t suck. At all.
Adam turns around immediately. The fastest spin I’ve ever seen. Cee Lo follows pretty quickly.
Christina takes a couple more seconds before she also hits her button.
Blake is not even thinking about turning around. But, when he turns around after the song, he cops to being a moron for not hitting his button.
Christina said Samuel’s song made her feel so good and she’d like to get to know him better and see “what your turn ons are.” Again, she’s the one who called Cee Lo “pervy.”
Did Ms. Aguilera recently go through a break up or something? She is all over these little boys this season.
Adam points out that he’s the one who spun around first.
Cee Lo says it’s obvious Samuel’s been listening to a mega ton of Bob Marley.
He tries to do a Marley sound in his throat and sounds like he might be choking on a fur ball. I guess we know where Purrfect is.
Adam agrees with Cee Lo that you can tell Samuel is a scholar of reggae music.
