The Voice released some exciting news yesterday.
In case you missed it, they’re planning on doing two seasons a year, instead of just one. The next season will start in the spring.
But Christina and Cee Lo have other things going on this spring, so they are being temporarily replaced by Usher and Shakira.
Shakira? Yes, Shakira.
So what’s more important than being on Season Four of The Voice?

Christina is releasing a new album and will be touring. Woohoo for her! And really, for us all.
And Cee Lo is developing a sitcom based on his life.
Okay, well, back to the present and Season Three of The Voice is in full gear.
According to Carson, who’s talking us in, we’ve got our strongest talent ever.
Carson promises that tonight we’ll see lots more of this strongest talent ever. We’ll see.
Before the blind auditions actually begin, we get to see Shelton tripping out of his car, with his ACM award for male vocalist of the year.
His driver toots his own horn before going to find a parking space. Or a burger. Or maybe a drink.
I’d need a drink if I were driving Blake Shelton around.
Adam drives himself on to the lot in his cute little black convertible.
Cee Lo gets out of a chauffered Rolls with his pink bird, whose name is Lady.
He looks back into the car and says “I’ll see you around lunchtime” and the camera pans to the backseat where we see a fairly terrified looking Purrfect.
Really, Cee Lo? Is this bring your pets to work and leave them in the car day?
Do I need to tell you guys that leaving your pets in the car is a bad idea? Of course not. My readers all have brains. Right?
