Reality TV Calendar is looking for Reality TV fans who want to write about their passion.
If you are Reality TV fan, or even better, a Reality TV fanatic, we would love to have you write for us. Do you really care about who wins? Do you have lots of opinions on almost every reality show? Can you just not get enough?
We are always looking for writers. We don't require experience. We do require enthusiasm and reliability. And we require that you be at least 18 years old.
We can't offer compensation for what you write but seeing your articles in print on the web's most widely read Reality TV site is pretty good in itself.
If you write for other Reality TV sites or post on Reality TV boards, that is okay with us too. It's a big web and there is lots of room. You're welcome at Reality TV Calendar.
What we are looking for are people who are enthusiastic and reliable. If the idea of sharing your opinions about Reality TV excites you and if you have a life that affords you a few hours a week to pursue your passion - please contact us today at Editor@RealityTVCalendar.com
We are looking for recappers:
Recaps are a blow by blow description of the latest episode. Your opinions about what happened during the episode should also be included. Recap writers are assigned to a particular show and recap all episodes for that season. To volunteer to recap a show check out the available shows here.
We are also looking for Commentators:
Are you bursting with opinions about a particular Reality TV show? More than one? We want you. Next to spoilers, commentaries are the most popular articles we publish. The readers can't get enough. Want to get snarky? That's okay too. You don't need to contact us in advance if you are considering a particular show or topic. Just write it up and submit it. We ask that commentaries be at least 500 words. We ask that they be timely. That's it.
We are also looking for Scoreboarders:
Reality TV Scoreboards are very popular on our site. We always need somebody to rank the contestants and predict the winners. Think you would be good at that? Please contact us.
We are also looking for Spoilers:
The number one most read type of article we publish. Fans can not get enough. Do you like to research? Do you have a source with good information? Do you like knowing about it in advance and want to share it with the world. Contact us, but be prepared to share your sources with the editor.
Writing about Reality TV can be a lot of fun. You can make friends around the world who share your passion. You can share your opinions and feelings with an audience that is hungry for news, opinion, recaps and more. But don't think it is all play and no work. It takes time to write and write well. But also keep in mind that we value enthusiasm and reliability over talent and ability. This is a labor of love. A site about Reality TV written for and by Reality TV fans.
